High Technology with single digit IQ

I wonder why these amazing technologically advanced critters talk and behave like retards. There wasn't single intelligent line coming from any Transformer. Compared to the robots from Terminator 2 these are idiot-robots. And how come high level government officials are so dumb?

There is only one possible answer - all these characters are projection of the director himself. In other words Michael Bay is an idiot. Well connected, well funded yet mentally challenged. No amount of special effects, explosions and CGI can hide that.

Another really annoying habit of mbay - circling cameras , circling around the boy and the girl, circling around the robots. It is 2009 for god sake! Go to school learn new tricks! And why is it 150 min - there wasn't any story for more than 30 min.
