Sonya: Good Or Bad?, 8 December 2007
8/10
Author: ccthemovieman-1 from Lockport, NY, United States

This episode picks up where the one two weeks ago left off, with a Middle Eastern terrorist woman "Sonya Barak" (Shiva Rose) being arraigned in court. They keep showing her give smug looks to Horatio, manipulating us viewers into rooting against the woman even more. That is commonplace on CSI shows: showing a killer to be smug and smiling into the face of Horatio Caine, who usually winds up, however, with the last laugh (inside).

Anyway, the American-hating terrorist has her trial set for a month from now and is free on a million dollars bail. In the parking lot, on her way out, one of the attorneys in the case is shot!

There are a number of the normal twists and turns but the main thing is that the story revolves more around patriots and terrorists than the normal crime story you see on the CSI shows. There also is a possibility that Sonya may not be the villain she appears to me....or is she? Either way, it looks like we haven't seen the last of this woman.
