Conta a história de dois amigos de infância, Neto e Matias. Um que pertence à classe média e outro da classe baixa, filho de doméstica. Ambos realizam o sonho de infância de se tornarem policiais militares, dividindo o tempo entre as operações nos morros cariocas e as aulas numa faculdade particular. Decepcionados com a instituição, entram para o BOPE. Um deles morre, e é aí que o outro vira um policial do BOPE de verdade.
