Yes. Becki Newton played Ruthie as well as her regular character Amanda in the Ugly Betty episode titled "Sofia's Choice."

In the first half of the season, Wilhelmina was partners with a woman having plastic surgery who had plans to take over Mode magazine. In those episodes, she was played by Elizabeth Penn Payne. It wasn't until the episode entitled "In or Out," that not only was the mysterious masked woman revealed, the actress who played her changed as well. The woman revealed herself to be Daniel Meade's presumed "dead" brother, Alex Meade, who underwent gender reassignment and changed his/her name to Alexis. From that episode onward, the role was played by model and actress, Rebecca Romijn.

Well, even though it is heavily implied on the show that he is, it has not been directly mentioned whether or not he is. An article in USA Today probably answers this question best: "Justin's sexuality has never been addressed on the show, but Betty creator Silvio Horta, who is gay and came out to his Cuban-American family at age 19, says the character will experience 'the journey' as he matures. 'I see myself in him,' Horta says. 'Growing up, I certainly felt like an outsider at times. But there's this sweet innocence in Justin that sees the positive.'"

So far, the only openly gay character on the show is Marc St. James, played by Michael Urie, who came out to his mother in the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" episode.

Yes. The scene where Santos reads Hilda the wedding vows is just a figment of her imagination. She wants him to stay longer, referring to having him hold on longer when he has his gunshot wound.

He is Wilhemena's assistant just like Betty is Daniel's assistant.
