I don't know what these other guys are saying, but I was at the same screening and I laughed all the way through. Phil Cornwell was ALWAYS in character and I think he could be the new Sid James!! James Fleet was brilliant, Caroline Harker was a true 'English Rose' and Nick Holder was great as the small town heavy. The plot was pretty main stream in a 'Stick it to the Man' kind of way, and this is the kind of comedy that the Americans love. I was sat behind a bunch of students (I think two of them have commented here) and they did nothing but yak all the way through, obviously they want to see the next Mr Bean catastrophe rather than a plucky little British independent comedy which took the theme of 'Super Casinos' and spun it into a fun little farce which just played for laughs. By the way, the script was GREAT but I think this film has some subtle adult themes which the average smelly student wouldn't recognize.
By the way, FAYE TOZER LOOKS FABULOUS NAKED!!!!!
