Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

A character has sex with an underage prostitute. Her bare-breasts are shown, and the man is thrusting from behind. She's seen fully nude afterwards. Her thigh is blocking her pubic region.

A newborn baby is shown clearly to be a girl.

A man fights two others while fully nude. Quick flashes of his genitals are visible several times.

Violence & Gore

A pregnant woman hemorrhages with blood flowing through her dress and onto the floor.

Two people have their throats cut. A frozen corpse is shown being thawed and having a finger cut off in closeup. Later the corpses hand is shown with all fingers removed.

There is a knife fight which leaves bloody slashes and at least two people dead. During the course of the fight, an arm is broken and a man has his eye put out with a knife. The aftermath is quite bloody.

A man kicks his son repeatedly.

Profanity

32 uses of "fuck" are present. The S-word is used twice. "Queer" is used a number of times to mean homosexual.

There are references to heroin used to drug women for sex. Several characters drink heavily throughout the movie, including drinking to the point of intoxication. Many of the characters smoke cigarettes, and one character extinguishes his cigarette on his own tongue.

The film's infrequent, but graphic violence may be too frightening for easily traumatized or squeamish viewers.

Sections of a diary, when narrated in several parts of the film, describe disturbing instances of rape and sexual torture.
