Trivia:
Dr. Pollidori's wife, Elizabeth, was named so because the infamous Dr. Frankenstein's wife was also named Elizabeth. moreQuotes:
Dana Scully: Why are you humoring them Mulder?Fox Mulder: I'm not humoring them, Scully. This is a very serious crime.
Dana Scully: So is perjury. So is calling out F.B.I. agents under false pretenses.
Fox Mulder: For the purpose of what?
Dana Scully: Isn't it obvious? I think what we're seeing here is an example of a culture for whom daytime talk shows and tabloid headlines have become a reality against which they measure their lives. A culture so obsessed by the media and a chance for self-dramatization that they'll do anything in order to gain a spotlight.

Every time I hear a Cher oldie I wax nostalgic on a contender for my all time favorite episode of X-Files!! Some of her most famous hits of the 70's set the stage for this fractured fairytale! Be it an homage to Shelley or the 50's B creature flicks, this little gem is so surprisingly touching, it will have you cheering for Mutato all the way to the end of the episode as the whole town, instead of burning the "creature" at the stake, peel rubber in their classic Fords and Chevy's head to some smoky roadhouse where "Cher" (okay, not really her, but her singing) is filling the night with her fabulous rendition of "Wallking in Mephis". You'll cheer with the crowd and maybe even hear yourself say...ahhhh!
