Trivia:
Though an episode of "Static Shock" suggested that Tim Drake is the Robin featured in this series (in addition to Dick Grayson (Nightwing) in the last Batman series being frustrated in the first episode because he has never struck out on his own), the series remains ambiguous as to whether the Teen Titans Robin is Tim Drake or the first Robin, Dick Grayson. This ambiguity comes from the fact that one of the producers stating that Teen Titans exists in a separate continuity from other DC Comics-based cartoons. There are several hints at this Robin actually being Dick Grayson, however, most notably in the episode "Haunted", where Raven enters Robin's mind and brief flashes of memories are shown, including a silhouette of Robin in a cave with his right hand raised (the oath in the Batcave taken by Dick Grayson) and a brief moment of a man and a woman falling, with trapeze stands in the background (the death of the Flying Graysons). Both Tim and Dick probably swore the same oath in the cave. Also in the comics it was revealed that Tim Drake was in the audience when the Flying Graysons died. Tim was able to figure out Dick Grayson was Robin and confronted him, and tried to convince Dick to give up his Nightwing Id, and become Robin again. Also, in the episode "How Long Is Forever?", where Starfire is teleported into the future, she meets with Robin who, by then, has become Nightwing. moreQuotes:
Raven: [seeing through Robin's eyes] Let me see him, through your eyes. See Robin? There's no one here. There never was.[Slade appears and hits Robin]
Raven: SLADE!
