The Doctor: [to Scott] Anything we can do to help?
[Scott forcefully grabs the Doctor]
The Doctor: Obviously not.
[regarding Adric wanting to go home]
The Doctor: You do not have the monitor skill Adric! And even if you did, I am not taking you back into E-Space!
Adric: Then I'll find someone who will take me!
The Doctor: E-Space is another universe! There isn't a taxi service that goes back and forth!
[the androids attack]
Kyle: Who are they?
The Doctor: Androids. That's why they didn't register on your scanners.
Scott: Androids?
[to the Doctor]
Scott: Are they yours?
The Doctor: No. And if you want proof you'll find they'll kill me as willingly as they'll kill you.
[one of the androids fires at them and they duck behind the rock. Seconds later, the Doctor looks over the top of the rock again]
The Doctor: See what I mean?
The Doctor: [preparing to leave the TARDIS] Adric wants to use the computer, I want to go for a walk.
