I've looked around and I don't know of anyone else having caught this yet, but the final scene of this episode seemed extremely reminiscent of the final scene of The Godfather. Angel makes what seems to be a cruel, uncharacteristic decision, leading the Fell demons into his office to sign the contract for the rights to Amanda's unborn child, and shutting the door behind him, all while a very confused Gunn looks on, not knowing what to think. It goes by the Godfather scene almost right down to how Angel and Gunn are standing when it takes place. It also leaves you with the feeling that Gunn isn't as sure anymore how well he knows, or how much he can trust, Angel, just as Kate was left outside Michael's office.
