Tight scriptwriting, superb plot twists and well paced action set pieces, Sleeper Cell follows the the path of Darwyn Al-Sayeed, a Muslim FBI agent working deep undercover in an espionage-style mission to dismantle plans from a small "sleeper cell" terrorist group within the district of California, USA.
The acting is superb, Michael Ealy and Oded Fehr are fantastic leads, Henri Lubatti, Alex Nesic and Blake Shields feel like they have known each other for years. Despite the dark and evil regime they work upon, there are elements of personality in each of them that you can take to, implying from the writers of the show that not all terrorists are completely heartless.
You don't need to have much intelligence to watch this show to understand the web of Islamic and Muslamic terrorist activity and religion, you are watching a show from the terrorist's point of view. Showing you exactly how easy it is for these perpetrators to go about their 'work'.
Astounding show that leaves you breathless. Utterly refreshing drama on a topic nobody wishes to talk about. 9/10
