Trivia:
Maggie Grace beat Emilie de Ravin, her "Lost" (2004) co-star, for the role of Elizabeth. moreGoofs:
Plot holes: The movie takes place on the centennial anniversary of the "founding" of Antonio Bay and is about the dead taking revenge for an act committed 100 years ago. This would mean the movie takes place in 1971 (in the diner, Elizabeth notes on the photographs that "something happened" in 1871 and the town sprung up from a few shacks to a thriving community). However, the movie clearly takes place in modern times - even though a year is never given, the music Stevie and Spooner play, the digital camera, the dress styles, the cars, etc all indicate that the time is contemporary. In addition, Antonio Bay would be much older than 100 years anyway, because of all of the photos that Elizabeth looks at that predate 1871. moreSoundtrack:

After having read a few of the comments that have already been left, it wouldn't make much sense for me to add much more than has already been said.
You've been warned: This is an hour and a half of your life that you will never, ever recover....and you will be irritated for it.
ZERO chemistry between characters, sub-par acting at best, no story continuity, and, most importantly, NO SCARE FACTOR. I actually found myself chuckling through a few scenes that were supposed to be suspenseful.
Terrible. With the technology available today, this had some serious promise to be an improvement over the original, but it failed miserably. Watch the original Fog.....
