With a number of the original characters now missing, this latest entry in the outrageous and wild comedy series shows us that Jim (Jason Biggs) and Michelle (Alyson Hannigan) are getting married. Amidst the barrage of bad-taste gags, Stifler (Seann William Scott) gets wind of the wedding and plans the ultimate bachelor party, while Jim tries to convince Michelle's parents (Fred Willard, Deborah Rush) that he is worthy of their daughter...and, oh, I should mention that Stifler is also h**lbent on scoring with Michelle's younger sister (January Jones).
A decent sequel that I must say runs hot and cold. While there are some jokes that are uproarious (or repulsive, depending on your sensibilities), there are also scenes that go on way too long: yet another instance where I wondered if the film-makers intended to pad the movie's running time. Highlight is a bachelor party (without Jim!) that turns into an absurd farce; the most disgusting scene - as I'm sure many will agree - concerns the fate of the wedding ring.
Often very funny, although I would recommend it mostly to people who loved the first two movies. I can't see the series winning any new fans - if you thought these movies were repulsive before, you'll REALLY hate this one.
As always, Seann William Scott is a riot as the obnoxious, amusingly hammy Stifler, getting most of the good lines - and often suffering indignities rival to those of Jim's.
I like these movies but I can see why some people wouldn't.
