Lately I have noticed that the show is enhanced with truly score-like orchestral soundtrack. I tried to find out who the composer is. None of the official large soundtrack bases and platform have any information about it. It would be nice to find out. The same goes for similar shows like CSI NY or the original CSI Las Vegas.
Many of the "questions" on the CSI: Miami boards revolve around the following:1. Kim Delaney/Megan Donner's Departure--This was done in the 11th episode of season 1 "Camp Fear" in which Lt. Horatio Caine received a letter from Megan explaining her departure, in which she stated the job reminded her too much of her husband's death. In the episode "Golden Parachute", it was explained that she had just returned to work after the death of her husband a while back (between 2-6 weeks, perhaps longer). While she had been the supervisor of the lab at one time, Horatio was promoted in her absence to lieutenant. The character was last seen in the episode "A Horrible Mind".It was not widely published why the actress was written out or left the show. It has been rumored that she and the cast lacked the on-screen chemistry that CSI producers were looking for.2. Tim Speedle's (Rory Cochrane) Death/Ryan Wolfe's (Jonathan Togo) Introduction--Tim Speedle was killed off on episode "Lost Son"--3rd season during a shootout in which his gun jammed from his failure to maintain/clean it; this was first explained in the 1st season episode "Dispo Day".It is noted that due to all the technical jargon used, the long work days and being away from his family; the actor had asked to be let out of his role on the series.3. The departure of Khandi Alexander/Alexx Woods--In the 6th season episode "Rock and a Hard Place"; Alexx's son is a suspect in a murder investigation. And while he is cleared, Alexx believes she needs to start taking care of the living instead of the dead; and leaves her position. Horatio tells her it will always be there. She had a brief return in the 7th season episode "Smoke Gets In Your CSI's" as an Emergency Room doctor. She was working part-time as was her son and it gave her a few hours each week to work.It could be assumed she decided to do that in order to keep her medical licenses & skills up to date.4. When did Ryan Wolfe join the CSI team?Ryan appeared in the 3rd season episode "Under the Influence" as one of the first patrol officers on the scene of the bus/pedestrin fatality. He explained that he had throroughly checked the scene. Horatio, admired his thoroughness and interviewed him for the CSI spot.Ryan was hired based on his weapon maintenance. He admitted to being a little OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). His first job was to investigate Kendall "Duke" Duquesne's DUI accident (Duke being the father of Calleigh).Togo's beginning credit did not start until the 3rd season episode "Hell Night".
