I've read the book "Vallen" by Anne Provoost, so I was actually expecting
the film to be worse than the book, as usual. But this was one of the
films
that was, I won't say better, but equally as good as the book. Everyone who
has read the book will understand how good it must have been then. The
actors were very convincing, the story, of course, was excellent and the
music of Praga Khan was perfect! The movie is very realistic, maybe a
little too realistic. It makes you think, and a movie that makes you think
is becoming a rarity these days ;) The story's about racism, nazism , how
easily you can influence people, and love. I got goosebumps several times,
it's brought into picture so beautiful. The music fits perfect into the
movie. (f.e. Falling by Praga Khan feat. Axelle Red and Rhythm by Praga
Khan
feat. Roos van Acker). Don't be surprised if you have to let a few
tears!
This film is worth a big 10, go see before it's too late people!

I had to read the book for school a couple of weeks ago and I really
hated it. I thought, and still think that it was one of the worst books
I've ever read. Then, yesterday my teacher Dutch told me that we would
watch the movie in class. I wasn't really thrilled about it but it
couldn't be worse than the book, right? And if it was, we still should
have no lessons for two courses. The first that shocked me was the hot
version of Lucas. Believe me, I had a totally different image in my
mind. And it wasn't good. I think all of the performances were really
great, especially Koen De Bouw. I also liked the fact that in the
movie, there was a love story (and a very romantic one too). I mean,
that was one of the coolest kissing scenes I've ever seen. I even cried
at the end, in class! My friend was making fun of me but I couldn't
help it! I've been talking about it all day en now I'm writing about
it... Absolutely a great film!
