Trivia:
When MGM, EON and Danjaq heard about the third Austin Powers movie, Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002), a title they believed to be too similar to their Bond classic Goldfinger (1964), legal wranglings ensued. New Line was barred from using the title until a mid-June hearing. The 11 April 2002 out of court settlement required the trailer for Die Another Day (2002) be played at screenings of "Austin Powers in Goldmember" and MGM have approval over titles for any future James Bond spoofing Austin Powers titles. As such, the movie could not be called "Goldmember" but "Austin Powers in Goldmember" and it didn't get its title until three months before its release. moreGoofs:
Factual errors: During the hovercraft scene in North Korea, Bond shoots the land-mines and they eject into the air before exploding. Though this is correct, the mines were shown exploding close to head height whereas in reality the mines would explode a waist level or lower so as to cause the most crippling injuries to soldiers. moreQuotes:
[first lines]Mr. Van Bierk: [stepping out of helicopter] Look, what is this? I'm supposed to...
[Bond puts a gun to Mr. Van Bierk's head and takes his sunglasses]

Die Another Day is another great Bond flick. Piece Bronosan proves to me once again that he makes a great Bond. The action sequences are tight and not over blown like in Tommrow Never Dies. Halle Berry and Rosomund Pike are great as Bond girls but I really enjoyed Rick Yune as the bad guy. I hope we get to see more Yune in the future. As the creidts always say James Bond will return.
