Entertaining but not outstanding, 5 June 2000

An easy way to spend some time in front of the television, this is a competently made, well acted little atmospheric film that will please mystery fans. All of the regular Poirot characters make an appearance and although the mystery isn't that ingenious, it's not frustratingly unbelievable, either (although one key ploy point does stretch the point a bit.)
