Screenwriter John Hughes is credited (for "characters created by") as "Edmond Dantès". Dantes is the central character in "The Count of Monte Cristo" and is the same credit John Hughes had on Beethoven (1992) and Beethoven's 2nd (1993).

Goofs:

Continuity: When Beethoven broke free from the camper's mirror in which he was tied to, in the next scene, when Beethoven is running to Brennon's aid, you can then see in the background that the mirror on the camper is still intact, as if it were never broken off.

Bad piece of crap

The Newton family decides to take a road trip,but they can't go without Beethoven,and a DVD player which has a DVD with some code or some crap on it. The bad guys plan to kill Beethoven and get the DVD. Which turns the movie dumb to dumber. Bad humor,that only a 4 year old would find funny. Really bad! Stay away from at all costs!
