The house Jon Stewart's character lives in is the same house used for Tim Allens character in Galaxy Quest (1999) and Colin Firth's character in Where the Truth Lies (2005). It is known as ''Case Study House #22, aka Stahl House'' and is in the Hollywood Hills section of Los Angeles.

Goofs:

Revealing mistakes: Throughout the entire movie, whenever there is a scene (and there are many) involving martinis, between shots the olives and level of vodka in the glass change. This happens many time when a character either eats an olive or is about to eat one, it will re-appear in the glass seconds later. Also - many times where the character is starting to say something, and the view is changed to be from their point of view and their lips are no longer moving.

This movie takes you by surprise from the minute it begins. The cast is filled with many beautiful and brilliant actors. There is never a dull moment in this movie, it makes you question your relationships and how to make them better without being "Hollywood". Sean Connery is certainly a stand out in this movie as well as Gena Rowlands who by far is an extraordinary actress with many dimensions to her. Angelina Jolie and Ryan Phillipee are sweet and tender in this film...it can make you cry at the emotions that come out of them.
