Funny Movie... Why Is It Being Campared To The Lush One Of The Same Name?, 25 September 1999
Author: Vertigo-27 from NC

Why are people comparing this to the other movie of the same name?.... It is a totally different movie, that must be why there is so many negative reviews on here about 'The Out-Of-Towners'... Which I must say is unfair... Another thing that is very unfair is people saying that Supporting Actor John Cleese was the only good thing in this movie... Which again I must say the he was not as up to par as Hawn or Martin were... Cleese was mainly only funny in one scene... and it's the obviouse one... the rest by him was way over-acted.

Anyway, Hawn and Martin are great! Their Chemestry seems to always work... exspecially in 'House Sitter'..

'The Out-of-Towners' Is hillarious... If you don't like It you must have forgotten what good humor Is... This movie is not only unfairly judged... but very under-rated, the harmless movies usually are, it seems.

It's sad that mainly only naive people got to see this movie... stupidly comparing it to the other of the same name...

If you have yet to see this movie... Please don't go on reading any of the other user comments on here... It will ruin the fun that you could have on your own of discovering that this movie is not as bad as it seems. Usually movies Like this 'are' annoying, how bad things happen continuously.. But this one is a rare exception!
