Trivia:
The afro and mustache in the photo on Detective Carter's badge were added as an afterthought in post-production. moreGoofs:
Revealing mistakes: In the Billiard Hall at the beginning of the fight, Lee goes to grab a barstool with his feet and it has a bright red seat cover and round metal legs. Right before he hits the bartender, it changes to a dull red seat cover and black painted two by fours for the legs. moreQuotes:
Carter: [sees a man smoking pot] Is this weed?[starts smelling the joint]
Carter: You got a perscription for this?
Cigaweed Man: Uhh... it's uhh... uhhh...
Carter: Where's it at? I should take your ass to jail, you know that?
Cigaweed Man: For what?
Carter: For what? Look at this!
Cigaweed Man: That's nothing but a cigarette...
Carter: That's cigaweed!
Cigaweed Man: Well it looked like a cigarette...

This movie is pure comedy from the beginning to the end. You will have a good laugh thanks to Chris Tucker in his role of Carter, a clumsy LA cop. The city of Los Angeles is spectacular and is a great scenario for this entertaining movie. Jackie Chan at its best kicking asses everywhere with an outstanding humble attitude. The main reason why I like this movie is the wonderful duo they play, constantly arguing about everything, but in the meantime they are loyal partners. The great diversity there is in America singles out in a city like Los Angeles when we go through Chinatown. And fortunately, the movie brings us out there. Interesting cultures melt into a huge variety of ethnicities that make anything possible to happen. This is why America is so interesting and wonderful.
All in all, this is a worth-seeing Hollywood movie and probably you would like to watch it several times!
