SUPPLEMENTS
  • The supplement section begins on CAV side 4, including 10 stories by Raymond Carver (which the film is loosely based on), production photos and notes, cast portrait by artist Don Bacbardy, publicity notes and materials, film reviews, and a massive dose of trailers (teaser, theatrical, and 6 TV spots). Included on CLV side 5 are three deleted scenes, including Anne Archer's clown scene and an extended version of Lyle Lovette's apology scene. Finishing up CLV sides 5 and 6 is a revealing documentary "Luck, Trust, and Ketchup", featuring juicy behind-the-scenes footage of Short Cuts and interviews with the entire cast members, director, and Raymond Carver's window "Tess Gallagher". Documentary feature multi-audio soundtrack: Occupying the left analog audio track is an audio essay by Michael Wilmington and on the right analog track is an interview with Pauline Kael.
