Married To It boasts one of the best comedy ensemble casts any film has had the pleasure of having. Beau Bridges, Mary Stuart Masterson, Robert Sean Leonard, Cybill Shepherd, Ron Silver and especially Stockard Channing sparkle in this sweet, endearing comedy of friendships and how strong they can be.
The supporting cast (including Donna Vivino and an early appearance from Paul Gross) add to the strength of the piece and the jokes are funny, if not hilarious. But it is still worth watching for Stockard Channing's magical performance as Iris, the former '60's hippy who is fed up with how her life has turned out.
Married To It is a fine film, and well worth seeking out. Just don't expect a masterpiece.
