Zac Efron 2.0 emerged earlier this month when the star traded his white tanks and ripped jeans for Calvin Klein suits. The shaggy haired Efron has disappeared leaving way for a dapper clean cut version of the heartthrob. While out promoting his new film Me and Orson Welles (2009), Zac Efron stopped by Late Show with David Letterman (TV) to talk about the film and his experience bungee jumping. While on location filming his new movie The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud in Canada, the star along with some of his buddies decided to spend the day bungee jumping. Zac Efron has opened up about the daredevil stunt he performed when he was in production for "Charlie St. Cloud". Being a guest at "Late Show with David Letterman", the leading man of the "High School Musical" series admitted to host David Letterman he had done some bungee jumps while filming for the movie in Vancouver, Canada.
"We [my friends and I] had this brilliant idea to wake up in the morning and go bungee jumping which isn't really a good idea when you're in production, because you've signed various contracts saying you won't," the 22-year-old recalled on his thrill-seeking act. "You can divide the world into guys who will do it and guys who won't do it. I'm definitely one who will."
The boyfriend of fellow "HSM" star, Vanessa Hudgens, went on detailing, "It's a pretty surreal feeling to be honest. I did kind of a back flip when I went off. Falling face first. »

It was a CBS-kinda-day for Adam Lambert. First, his new network B.F.F. bailed him out of what might have been a ho-hum morning, after ABC canceled his appearance on Good Morning America (TV). Then Adam appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman (TV) to perform his newest single, Whataya Want From Me. The result was a kinder, gentler Adam. No controversy. No drama. No kiss. Just a good solid performance. He appeared at the end of the broadcast, and was not interviewed by Letterman. Adam's demeanor, once again, matched the song de jour, and the song seemed somewhat relevant to his present circumstance with fans; "What do you want from me? / Just don't give up / I won't let you down / It messed me up / Need a second to breathe / Just keep coming around." He went on to sing "It's me / I'm a freak / But thanks for loving »

Adam Lambert knows that, as a performer with an over-the-top stage act, audiences are going to love him or hate him - and he's fine with either. "I could be somebody's role model, but on the flip side I could be somebody's worst nightmare at the same time," the singer, 27, tells Popeater. "You never know how you're going to affect people, being in this position." Right now, the "nightmare" tag seems to be predominant among many, since his overtly sexual show at the American Music Awards on Sunday infamously caused ABC to cancel Lambert's morning-show performance a couple days later. »

Actress Penelope Cruz may be shopping for her wedding gown.
Rumors have been circulating for months that Cruz and actor Javier Bardem have gotten engaged. Neither has confirmed the rumor, but Cruz was spotted wearing a blue sapphire engagement ring during a recent appearance on "Late Show With David Letterman."
"They will marry very soon, maybe even over the holidays," says a friend to In Touch. "Penelope's parents are conservative Catholics and are really pushing for her to get married. Javier would like to take things slowly, but Penelope wants to make her parents happy."
The insider also revealed that Cruz has been quietly visiting her favorite fashion designers to view pieces for the upcoming nuptials. The insider added, "Since she and Javier are from Spain, she'd love to have a Spanish designer create her dream gown."

What ABC lost is CBS' gain. Adam Lambert has confirmed that he will still be performing live on Wednesday, November 25, only it will be on The Eye's "The Early Show" instead of "Good Morning America".
Adam invited criticisms when he made an impromptu performance at American Music Awards on Sunday that included a middle finger sign to the audience, an oral sex simulation and a kiss with his male keyboardist. ABC released a statement saying, "Given his controversial live performance on the AMAs we were concerned about airing a similar concert so early in the morning."
Adam actually has been booked to tape a performance for "Early Show". However, since ABC made a pass on him, CBS switched it to a live performance. According to the press release, Adam will not perform "For Your Entertainment" which he sang at AMAs but two other songs from his new album.

In his first major awards-show performance on the American Music Awards Sunday night, Adam Lambert managed to steal the spotlight away from a galaxy of veteran stars with a raunchy spectacle that made global headlines. But the "American Idol" runner-up also quickly learned that when you push people's buttons, they often push back.
In addition to the more than 1,500 complaint calls received by ABC over Lambert's show-closing AMAs appearance — during which he kissed a male keyboard player, grabbed a female dancer's crotch, dragged another around by her ankles and mimed getting oral sex from a male dancer — ABC's "Good Morning America" announced on Tuesday (November 24) that it has canceled Lambert's planned »

"The Twilight Saga: New Moon" opened up to a record-busting weekend, bringing in over $140 million over the weekend (making it the third-largest film opening of all time, behind "Spider-Man 3" and "The Dark Knight"). Certainly the business generated by the second film in the series was due to the buzz created by stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart last week. The promotional push doesn't slow down this week on the TV talk shows, many of which are dark or running limited schedules because of the Thanksgiving holiday. Tonight, Ashley Greene will try to follow Pattinson's appearance on "The Late Show with David Letterman," while co-star Taylor Lautner will be Conan O'Brien's guest on "The Tonight Show."
Letterman also has some top-shelf musical talent this week, as he welcomes Rihanna on Tuesday night (November 24) and Adam Lambert on Wednesday (November 25). Conan, meanwhile, has Timbaland on tonight and Weezer on Tuesday. »

Adam Lambert has become talk of the town since participating on "American Idol" season 8. Through his signature powerful voice, the singer who always applies fingernail polish and eye make-up on every occasion has won music lovers' heart.
When losing the first position to fellow participant Kris Allen, Adam stays positive and insists that "first or second, it doesn't matter" to him. What really important is "about tomorrow" when he records his debut album and showcases it to his fans, so he said.
Adam releases his major-label debut album "For Your Entertainment" via 19 recordings/RCA on November 23, one day after performing at 2009 American Music Awards. In this album, he does not only take the duty as a singer but also takes the chance to co-write several songs with the likes of Kara DioGuardi and Greg Wells.
Other hottest music talents who have lent helping hands included Lady GaGa, Pink, Dr. Luke, »

From Hollywood Crush: In some of their final stops on the New York City press tour for "New Moon," Robert Pattinson visited the set of "Late Show with David Letterman" and Kristen Stewart hung out with Jimmy Fallon on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."
The Letterman show was fueled with the topic of "New Moon." In his opening monologue he commented that vampire teens stay up all night and then sleep all day, adding, "Isn't that every teenager? When you think about it, isn't that what other kids do?" and elaborating, "These teenagers not only drain you of your blood but they also empty your refrigerator." In his mockery of Barack Obama's interview with Fox News, he claimed the number four highlight of the interview was he began a feud over which twilight star is hunkier, Robert Pattinson or Taylor Lautner.

Robert Pattinson made his Late Show with David Letterman debut last night, and his choice of anecdotes will no doubt encourage Twihards to Twiharder. Though he couldn't explain why he elicits such a strong response from fans wherever he goes — "I don't know, maybe it's like a kind of scent or something" — he shared a story that shows devotion can have its rewards. Back in 2007, when he was in Spain filming his role as Salvador Dali in Little Ashes, there was a girl who waited outside his apartment every day for about three weeks. "I was so chronically bored that just one day. »
