Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.
Visit our Parents Guide Help to learn more

Sex & Nudity

No nudity, but some scenes are sensual in nature as characters are wooed.

Violence & Gore

A character beaten for several seconds in two scenes. A man is stabbed and crashes out a window and falls out (we see blood on the mans shirt)

People throughout the film are accidentally cut with Edward's hands (sometimes we see the bloody results)

An elderly man has a heart attack and dies.

Profanity

Some mild curse words are uttered. Only a few uses of s**t, d**k, hell, ass and b***h.

Some characters drink alcohol, while another drives drunk, nearly hitting a child.

This film has a gothic tone to it and the apperence of Edward may be frightening to very small children. Some parts of story can be quite intense for some viewers because of the way Edward is treated, especially in the last 15 minutes of the film.
