Trivia:
Although the final music credit is listed as "Hail to the Matadors" by Richard Kaufman, what the Cal State University Northridge Matador Band plays onscreeen is actually titled "CSUN Fight Song" which is based on the original 1967 school song for the former San Fernando Valley State College. The up-tempo arrangement for marching band was done by CSUN alum, Steve Tyler. moreGoofs:
Continuity: Jessica thinks she's blown the interview and rips open her shirt, she then runs out of the office holding her shirt closed with Marlon only a few seconds behind her. However when Marlon catches up to her, the shirt is perfectly buttoned up even though she didn't have any time to button up. moreSoundtrack:

Utterly ridiculous movie which makes fun of the college admission process. While it is true that the SAT's is not everything in evaluating a student for admission to college, what the movie talks about is utterly ridiculous and not worth repeating nor viewing.
College admissions officials are made to look like stupid people who have an extremely narrow view of the entire process. The film is an insult to hard-working high school students who work hard and then have to suffer through a long process until they receive that letter of acceptance or rejection from the schools they have applied for.
This movie certainly deserves rejection on all levels.
