'Crime Story' precluded the police show craze by only a few years. Its no-nonsense attitude portrayed by the police are seen today in 'Law & Order' and 'NYPD Blue'. I loved this show. However, the only people I knew that watched it were my parents, uncle, brother, and sister. It's in syndication on A&E, now at 1 in the afternoon, central time. We tape it, if we're not home for some reason. This show deserves to live on in cult immortality. *****(out of 5).
