Howard Stern and producing partner Larry Levinson are planning a remake of the 1979 classic Rock 'n' Roll High School. The script is actually being written by Bill from Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, aka in real life as Alex Winter, who has gone on to write and direct in addition to acting. Stern and Levinson are also remaking Porky's, with both films being personal favorites of Stern's. No director has been attached yet, but Winter explains "I've now done so much stuff in music videos, and the Napster movie, that the chance to bridge music and comedy was something that intrigued me. This movie seemed so ripe for a remake." Really? Ripe for a remake? Maybe after Paramount announced School of Rock 2! The original 1979 comedy was directed by Allan Arkush and starred P.J.
