Some brilliant some boring

I'm in my 30s and loved watching this show in the early 80s before it lost the plot(s) ,literally, in the mid-80s. My favourite epsiode was one I saw in the early 80s starring Derek Jacobi as a Jester type character called Columbus. A couple of years ago I bought two, three tape sets of eighteen Tales of the Unexpected and they were the most boring episodes, so be warned!
