Although I have heard this film being joked upon many a time, I decided to make up my own mind about it....and I'm sure my Victoria would agree with me when I say that this blend of camp humour and horror were marvellously combined into a really enjoyable romp. Once again, we see Vincent Price splendidly portraying the evil Dr Phibes, but I couldn't help thinking that the scriptwriters had refined his sadistic, yet witty, sense of humour for this one. I'm not going to give away any of the plot lines here, just see this film if you haven't already...it made me laugh more than once, especially with Phibes' rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" at the end. A camp horror classic!
