Fun Stuff

Goofs:
Revealing mistakes: In a rail car containing the shipment of cattle, Tom Reese, an 'experienced' cattle-handler, attempts to help up a fallen steer by pulling the animal's head so that it can get up on its front legs then, presumably, on to its hind legs. No bovine will normally get up like this, and it's easier for it, firstly, to raise itself up on its hind legs by lunging forward, then put its front legs under it to stand up. To help this animal get up, you must lift its rear end by grabbing either the tail root or its backside. more
Quotes:
Tom Reese: And all that hogwash about horses! The loyalty of the horse! The intelligence of the horse! The intelligence? You know a horse has a brain just about the size of a walnut. They're mean, they're treacherous and they're stupid. There isn't a horse born that had enough sense to move away from a hot fire. No sensible man loves a horse. He tolerates the filthy animal only because riding is better than walking. more

The trumpeter who played the background music, 11 December 2001
Author: (avartpro@aol.com) from Wellington, Florida

The trumpet music that was heard in the movie 'Cowboy' was performed by Rafael Mendez the 'World's Greatest Trumpeter' of his day. Mr. Mendez, also had a small on camera appearance as the trumpeter in the cantina where he played 'El Gitano' which he also composed.
