• Revealing mistakes: Mildred's house on Corvallis Street in Glendale is shown as a ranch style home, however the interior has a staircase leading to the bedrooms.
  
  
• Continuity: The placement of the hat-stand after Bert arrives home.
  
  
• Audio/visual unsynchronized: Just before Veda is taken into custody, she tells Mildred: "I'll get by," but her lips don't move.
  
  

• Continuity: When MILDRED'S (the restaurant) has it's grand opening (just after Kay's death) it's night time and but the waitresses are all shouting breakfast orders: "Short stack, easy on the butter." (Pancakes.) "Adam and Eve on a raft, make it hard!" (2 hard-boiled eggs on toast.)
