Synopsis
This political drama features John Hurt as a Cabinet Minister, forced to step down and accept a position as British Commissioner in Brussels. With his marriage feeling the strain and an underwhelming portfolio of industry to work with, he becomes involved with the Commissioner for the Environment. Soon though it becomes clear that he is at the centre of a web of lies, intrigue and scandal.
