The Big Bang Theory, Criminal Minds, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: NY, The Good Wife, and The Mentalist have each been given one more installment.

Star Trek: The Next Generation: Wil Wheaton was in the latest Star Trek Movie?
5 November 2009 8:58 AM, PST
The Jj Abrams-directed Star Trek movie includes several allusions and tips of the hat to its predecessors. Aside from Leonard Nimoy, there are cameo appearances by numerous Trek veterans of the past. Actor Wil Wheaton has just revealed that he's one of them.
It seems that Wheaton, who's best known to Trek fans for playing Wesley Crusher on Star Trek: The Next Generation, did some voice work on the movie. As he tells it, the job came about through text messaging with Abrams' friend Greg Grunberg.
Wheaton says he had a great time and recorded about three pages of dialogue on an Adr soundstage with Abrams. He provided all of the voices for the Romulans on Nero's ship, including the one who tells the villain "it's time" at the start of the movie.
While much of his voice work has been »

V: Great Debut Ratings But Will They Last? Cancel or Keep It?
4 November 2009 7:09 PM, PST
The "visitors" are back -- with a vengeance. ABC's remake of V, the NBC mini-series and show of the same name, kicked off (and kicked butt) last night. The numbers look really good but, most importantly, will they last.
The current incarnation of V begins as spaceships appear in the skies over 29 international cities and a benevolent leader, Anna (Morena Baccarin), tells the people of Earth that they come in peace. Several humans doubt the aliens' sincerity and FBI agent Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell) learns that the aliens have been among us for years, infiltrating governments and businesses. The series also stars Morris Chestnut, Joel Gretsch, Logan Huffman, Lourdes Benedicto, Laura Vandervoort, and Scott Wolf.
The new V pilot has gotten some mixed reviews but any negativity didn't seem to discourage TV viewers from giving the show a try. Last night, the premiere »

At times, it's a little spooky to see how much they look alike.

The Los Angeles-based cop drama revolves around a group of officers from the Lapd. The Southland cast includes Benjamin McKenzie, Kevin Alejandro, Arija Bareikis, Michael Cudlitz, Shawn Hatosy, Regina King, Michael McGrady, Tom Everett Scott, Emily Bergl, Patrick Fischler, Lex Medlin, C. Shark Tank: ABC Show Not Cancelled, Coming Back for More Episodes
1 November 2009 5:07 PM, PST
Though ABC's reality series Shark Tank hasn't been doing big business in the ratings, the network is apparently happy enough with the ratings to want additional installments.

They pitch their ideas to successful business people Robert Herjavec, Kevin O'Leary, Barbara Corcoran, Kevin Harrington, and Daymond John, otherwise known as "the Sharks." If they're interested, the Sharks offer to invest their own money but typically want a bigger piece of the pie than the inventor has in mind.
The series is based on a UK program called Dragons' Den and the first of 10 episodes premiered on ABC on August 9th. The ratings weren't anything to crow about during the summer and were expected to drop even lower opposite new fall programming. Surprisingly, the numbers have »
