Judge Rejects Tro Against Kiss Rocker Gene Simmons

Kiss rocker Gene Simmons has successfully fought a temporary restraining order filed against him. A judge sided with the musician and rejected the request filed by a couple who claimed he tried to kill them.

According to the documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Nathan Marlowe and Cynthia Manzo allege that the 60-year-old Simmons attacked and threatened them.

On December 19, Marlowe claims he tried to film Simmons at The Grove shopping mall in Los Angeles. When he asked him about his "public persona about monogamy," Simmons then grabbed him by the throat, head butted and choked him, saying, "I will kill you."

Simmons also allegedly grabbed Marlowe's wife, Manzo, by the throat and told her, "I will kill you," before fleeing with Marlowe's camera.

Domestic Violence Mentioned In Courtney Love-Frances Bean Cobain Custody Drama

No one outside Courtney Love and daughter Frances Bean Cobain's circle knows the real reason why Frances asked a judge to turn over her guardianship to her grandmother. But according to court files, "allegations of domestic violence" may have taken a role.

According to the documents filed by Frances' new guardians, obtained by E! News, their lawyers are asking that all proceeding be sealed from the public, including "allegations of domestic violence."

If their request is denied, the lawyers ask that the late Kurt Cobain's 17-year-old daughter's "personal and medical information," including "allegations of domestic violence," be sealed from the public.

Frances' custody was temporarily transferred to grandmother Wendy O'Connor and aunt Kimberly Cobain earlier this month. A temporary restraining order against Love was also filed. She has been prohibited from having any contact with her daughter.

Tila Tequila Takes Back Pregnancy Announcement Yet Again

Tila Tequila's pregnancy shout out turns out to be premature. Despite announcing to the world that she's pregnant, she reveals that she is not expecting yet.

The 28-year-old MTV reality show star wrote her "big announcement" on her Twitter account earlier this week, saying she is giving her brother and wife a Christmas present.

She said, "Big Announcement: I am going to become a Surrogate Mother for my brother & his Wife!!! That is my xmas present to them. Im pregnant!!!! [sic]"

The post quickly spread online, with various blogs and news outlets reporting her latest attempt at getting attention.

Brittany Murphy's Private Funeral Set On Christmas Eve

Brittany Murphy's family has set funeral arrangements for her. The 32-year-old actress' body has been transported to Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills, where she is set to be buried Thursday.

E! News said that the "Clueless" star will be laid to rest on Christmas Eve. The funeral and burial service will be "strictly private."

It has not been mentioned if a public memorial will be held after the holiday.

Meanwhile, her dad Angelo Bertolotti reveals that he won't attend the funeral. He told the entertainment website that he doesn't want to see his daughter that way.

Randy And Evi Quaid Finally Show Up In Court, Plead Not Guilty

Randy Quaid and wife Evi have finally appeared in court Tuesday after missing out on five previous court dates. The husband-and-wife duo pleaded not guilty to felony charges, including defrauding an innkeeper.

The couple arrived Tuesday morning at the Santa Barbara Superior Court to enter their pleas. They are accused of charges of burglary, defrauding an innkeeper, and conspiracy, which stem from a dispute over their ,000 hotel bill in September.

They are expected to return to court on March 1 for a preliminary hearing.

Randy and Evi were arrested in Texas on September 24 after they were accused of bailing out on their hotel bill at the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California. They were released on bail later that evening.

Susan Sarandon And Tim Robbins Split

One of Hollywood's power couples has split, according to People. Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins have parted ways after 23 years.

Sarandon's rep, Teal Cannaday, told People in a statement, "Actress Susan Sarandon and her partner of 23 years, actor Tim Robbins have announced that they separated over the summer. No further comments will be made."

Robbins and Sarandon have two sons together, Jack, 20, and Miles, 17. Their relationship often faced scrutiny because Robbins is 12 years younger than Sarandon and the couple never married.

Sarandon said in the past, "I won't marry because I am too afraid of taking him for granted or him taking me for granted - maybe it will be a good excuse for a party when I am 80."

"The Secret Life Of The American Teenager" Releases Volume 3 DVD

The 3rd volume of the top-rating ABC Family series "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" has been released on DVD, which includes bonus features such as a sneak peek at the forthcoming second half of season two.

After 16-year-old Amy Juergens was dealing with her unexpected pregnancy in the first season, she must now deal with juggling motherhood and high school, while her friends and family experience their own relationship challenges.

Season two began airing on June 22, with its mid season finale aired September 7. While the second half is expected to return on January 4, fans may relive the first twelve episodes with the teen drama's DVD offering.

"Kyle Xy" Third And Final Season DVD Previews Future

The third and final season of the canceled drama series "Kyle Xy" will reveal what could have happened in the fourth season. The DVD offering of the now-defunct show is giving fans a glimpse into the future.

Because of dwindling ratings, the once top rated ABC Family show aired its finale on March 16 this year. Unfortunately, its abrupt cancellation, which was announced in January, left several unresolved conflicts.

In a reply to a Twitter question if fans would ever see some resolutions on the cliffhangers, Executive Producer Julie Plec said that the show's season 3 DVD will have a "mini wrap-up," adding that "it's the best we could do given the circumstances."

Fans were hoping to see a TV movie to wrap up everything, but ABC Family allegedly said earlier this year that there were no plans for such.

"Britney is ready to marry Jason," says a friend of the 28-year-old, who has been reading bridal magazines and is hoping for a big, traditional wedding in the summer of 2010 - even though Jason has yet to pop the question. "She wants to be with him 24/7."

Tlc To Run Holiday Marathons Of Fans Favorite Shows

Tlc is helping everyone out there avoid awkward conversation with family by running marathons of fan favorite shows. Starting out on Christmas Eve, "BBQ Pitmasters" will kick off with some heat at 8:00 pm Et.

Viewers can check out some white weddings on Christmas Day with episodes of "Say Yes to the Dress" and more starting at 2:00 pm Et.

A viewer's choice marathon of "Cake Boss" will feature fans' most favorite episodes of the cake baker reality show. The marathon kicks off on Monday, December 28 at 5:00 pm Et.

Justin Timberlake Named Top Philanthropist Of 2009

Justin Timberlake has been named the top philanthropist of 2009 by The Daily Beast. The singer ranked the highest out of a list of 50 celebrities named by the website for their charitable sides.

Timberlake works with the Shriners Hospital for Kids, a non-profit organization that offers free health care to children in a family-centered environment. The Shriners help kids that need treatment for orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries and cleft lip and palate.

Timberlake raised over million for the organization, beating out other celebrity do-gooders including Oprah, Angelina Jolie, and Madonna. The PGA Tour and Timberlake event, "Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open," also raises funds for the organization and draws out lots of celebrities.

Comedy legend Mel Brooks' timeless classics are available for the first time in high definition. 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has debuted "The Mel Brooks Collection on Blu-ray Disc" on December 15.

The nine-disc collection features an exclusive book created in conjunction with him highlighting his life and unforgettable films.

It includes nine of his critically acclaimed films, including "High Anxiety," "History of the World Part 1," Robin Hood: Men in Tights," "Silent Movie," "Spaceballs," "To Be or Not to Be," "The Twelve Chairs," and his most commercially successful films "Blazing Saddles" and "Young Frankenstein."

Boy George has been told that he will not be allowed to take part in the new season of Celebrity Big Brother which is set to start on Sunday January 3rd. The singer's legal team have been trying to lift a ban from the Probation Service that will not allow him appear on the show.

The high court has ruled that the star, real name George O'Dowd, cannot participate in the new series of the Channel 4 show Celebrity Big Brother. Mr. Justice Bean said that the Probation Service could refuse Boy George the right to appear on the show adding that someone who is out on license and the specific restrictions in place on their freedom are a part of the punishment.

Judge Extends Britney Spears' Conservatorship

Britney Spears will continue to be under her father's guidance for another six months or so. A judge has decided to extend her conservatorship, which means dad Jaime will remain in charge of her personal and business affairs.

It wasn't specified how long the conservatorship is extended, but lawyers told TMZ that it is expected to last from six months to a year.

The ruling states that Jaime will continue to receive ,000 per month. Co-conservator Andrew Wallet is also granted over 4,000 as payment for services rendered from July 2009 and November 2009.

Britney will also have to pay almost 0,000 in attorney's fees. The next hearing is scheduled for January 14.

Simon Cowell To Quit American Idol, Says His Brother

Could it be an end to an era?  According to Simon Cowell's brother, Tony, the sharp-tongued British personality is set to quit his role as an American Idol judge at the end of the upcoming season. 

Writer and broadcaster Tony said on his weekly podcast The Cowell Factor: "A press statement is being prepared which will confirm what everybody expected:  Simon will leave Idol at the end of 2010 to concentrate on bringing the American version of 'The X Factor' to the U.S. in 2011."

Cowell's contract ends after the upcoming ninth season.  This year's judging panel already has some changes in store, with comedian and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres replacing Paula Abdul.

So far there has been no comment from Fox.  The new season of American Idol begins January 12.
