Break Good For 'V,' Morena Baccarin Says

ABC is going for event television with "V," and so far it seems to be working. The series premiere of the 1980s series reboot attracted nearly 14 million viewers, and made the top 10 for the first week of sweeps. But can that success continue? After Tuesday's episode, there will be only two more before spring, with ABC hoping fans will stick around and watch to watch more despite the break. Morena Baccarin, who plays the Visitors leader Anna, said she knows viewers will be back for more, no matter how long they have to wait. "It's kind of amazing to put it out there in such a big way," Baccarin told Airlock Alpha. "To have these four episodes that we could spend so much time on, and being able to make them big and epic, we know it will make a huge impact. And then to be able to go ... »

'Smallville' . Kandor

This review may contain spoilers. It is always a rare treat when "Smallville" delves into the Superman mythology, and "Kandor" is as momentous and integral an event to the mythos as the death of Jonathan Kent. In a very epic way, we are finally introduced to Maj. This review may contain spoilers./strong> .FlashForward. brought the tears this week: we lost one of our beloved FBI agents, but for a much greater good. He proved to us, and to his fellow agents, that the flash forwards can indeed be changed, they aren.t doomed to happen even if we don.t want them to. This is good for most of our main characters, as they don.t want their flash forwards to happen. Knowing that they are in control of the visions must make them sleep better at night. Mark (Joseph Fiennes), Al (Lee Thompson Young), and Demetri (John Cho) found their way into The Blue Hand this week, but had to play a game of Russian Roulette before they could pass through the doors. It was an intense scene that made more sense at the end of the episode when we discover that Al has ... »

'Fringe' . Earthling

This article may contain spoilers. The opening sequence alone was enough to make your hair stand on end. A man was planning a romantic rendezvous with his wife for their anniversary, but, as he set out the vase of roses and a card, a shadow walked by. Sensing there was something there he turned and proceeded to search the apartment, flipping on light switches to find out if anyone was there. When one of the lights went out, he turned it back on to discover a shadow figure. Backing away slowly, it was clear he would not survive. Then when his wife arrived, she found him sitting in a chair and, as she reached out to touch him, he crumbled into dust. It was ashes to ashes. What kind of being can turn a person literally to dust? And not just a pile of dust, but sucking the entire life »
