Hi-Res Poster Debut For 'Zombieland'
14 July 2009 3:57 PM, PDT
This afternoon Columbia Pictures provided Bloody-Disgusting with a hi-res first look at the one sheet for their horror comedy Zombieland and it's a whopper. You can take a look at the busy (yet, totally awesome) poster below and then talk back on what you guys think - it looks like a wild ride if you ask me! In the film arriving in theaters October 9, Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) has made a habit of running from what scares him. Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) doesnt have fears. If he did, hed kick their ever-living ass. In a world overrun by zombies, these two are perfectly evolved survivors. But now, theyre about to stare down the most terrifying prospect of all: each other.

New Director For 'Hack/Slash', Shooting This Winter?!
14 July 2009 3:36 PM, PDT
Commercial director Fredrik Bond has come aboard to direct Hack/Slash, Rogue's long-delayed adaptation of a cult horror comic book that previously had Todd Lincoln attached at the helm. Hack/Slash, the must-read horror-themed comic series created by Tim Seeley and Stefano Caselli, centers on Cassie Hack, a woman who symbolizes the lone girl who survives at the end of every horror movie. Hack not only survived, she has become a killer of killers and travels to small towns across the country hunting slashers in the vein of "Halloween's" Michael Myers, "Friday the 13th's" Jason Voorhees and "A Nightmare on Elm Street's" Freddy Krueger. She is partnered on her journey with Vlad, a hulking companion who serves as her protector. The project, with a current script by Justin Marks, has seen several directors come and go, but looks to be finally ready to bust out of the gate.

14 July 2009 3:26 PM, PDT
We broke the news earlier this year that offers went out to a trio of Scream stars to return for a fourth time. E! Online breaks the news this afternoon that both David Arquette and Courteney Cox have officially signed on to return as Dewey Riley and Gale Weathers respectively in the Weinstein Company's Scream 4. "We are going to be doing Scream 4," Arquette tells the site. "Kevin Williamson is writing the script at this moment, and hopefully Wes Craven is going to direct." We had reported, and been told by Craven, that if the money/script was right, he'd return to helm the mega franchise that took the 90's by storm. We're told that the film will be a younger version of the Scream films, although Neve Campbell threw a kink in the wheel by refusing to return as Sidney Prescott.
