Stephen Stohn reveals on his Alexz Johnson fansite that she will portray Saturn Girl on Smallville. The eleventh episode this season, written by Geoff Johns, will introduce Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad, and Cosmic Boy as visiting Clark Kent from their thirtieth century home. This is a direct adaptation of their legendary first appearance in 1958’s Adventure Comics #247.
Sohn wrote, “Yes, to answer questions that people keep asking me about: the rumors that Alexz is guest-starring in the long-awaited ‘Legion’ episode of Smallville are true… she is filming this episode as she awaits the final mix of what may be the final song for her album…"
The episode will most likely run in December but has not been officially announced nor has the casting for the other Legionnaires. Over at IGN, Johns this week said the flight rings will be in evidence but not their traditional comic book togs. It also

A new sneak peek into the new episode of "Smallville" has been provided by The CW. The clip, showing the part when Clark talks about his secret to Chloe, is taken from the episode called "Identity" which will air on October 30.
Jimmy snaps a picture of Clark super-speeding to save Lois from a mugger and manages to catch a red and blue blur on film. Jimmy shows it to Tess who decides to run it on the front page of the Daily Planet. Clark fears his identity will be discovered so he asks Chloe to run interference with Jimmy, but she refuses.
The eight season of "Smallville" premiered on September 18. The season is missing two of its regular cast Kristin Kreuk and Michael Rosenbaum who portray Lana and Lex Luthor respectively.

Every time I look at pictures of Kristin Kreuk as Chun-Li I think of two things. First, she looks smokin' hot. Second, isn't Chun-Li supposed to be Asian? One of those itsy bitsy details we'll let slide I guess, as here are a couple more photos of Kristin Kreuk looking hot and non-Asian as Chun-Li.
Production Photos: Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li
While Kristin Kreuk is definitely the eye candy to be seen in Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, I'm currently most anxious to see how Neal McDonough looks as the film's villain, M. Bison. While we're at it, how about Chris Klein as Nash or Michael Clarke Duncan as Balrog?

20th Century Fox has unveiled The Japanese website and first poster for the upcoming Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li. This doesn’t seem to have anything to do with to Jean-Claude Van Damme’s Street Fighter film of 1994 which I thought was pretty fun (and funny) as a 9 year old.
That being said, I probably couldn’t bear to watch the entire thing all the way through again without the aid of alcoholic beverages.
The Japanese website can be found at StreetFighter-Movie.gyao.jp although it has nothing on it other than this picture as of yet.
Have a look at the poster and see what you think:
Street Fighter is based on the classic and once-super-popular Capcom video game franchise of the same name. It stars Kristin Kreuk of Smallville fame as the lead character Chun Li (played by Ming-Na in the original) and other recognizable actors including Neal McDonough,

The Japanese official site for Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li has popped online, and with it has come the movie's first, Kreuk-centric teaser poster. Kristin Kreuk stars in the film as Chun Li, best known as the hair-in-a-bun videogame fighter from the once popular series of Street Fighter fighting games. In theory, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li opens here in the United States on February 27th . So far though, Fox hasn't bothered to market the thing anywhere outside of Asia. Maybe there's more residual heat on this thing over in Japan? Here's the Japanese poster:

Sharing his thought about the forthcoming "Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li" to MTV News, Steven E. de Souza gives out a surprising comment about the new "Street Fighter" project. The director/writer of the 1994 "Street Fighter" believes that "Chun-Li" will be a better movie than the original one due to the fact that it focuses on one particular character.
About the Andrzej Bartkowiak-directed movie, he praised, "I heard that it's the story of just Chun-Li. That has to make for a better picture." He also revealed that he cannot wait to see how the characters in the new flick will be portrayed by Michael Clarke Duncan, Chris Klein, Black Eyed Peas' Taboo and other co-stars.
Comparing the new adaptation to his version, he recalled the flaw of the original flick saying, "When we were making the original one, they insisted that all of the characters be in the movie.

With the release of Andrzej Bartkowiak’s “Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li” approaching, why not check in with the director of the 1994 adaptation of “Street Fighter” and ask him about his thoughts on the reboot?
MTV did just that. In a brief interview, Steven E. de Souza, who directed Jean-Claude Van Damme in the first big-screen version, said he;s glad the main focus of the film will be on one character.
“I heard that it’s the story of just Chun-Li. That has to make for a better picture,” he told MTV.
De Souza said he didn’t originally want to stuff his film with so many characters, but he didn’t have a choice.
“I was begging at the time: ‘Couldn’t we just meet some of these people in the sequel?’” he said. “Even after we started the movie, they added another character because there was another videogame.

So this week we shall see the season premiere of Smallville. This is not only the eighth season of the series that depicts a young Clark Kent learning the lessons that will make him Superman, it is also likely the last -- unless the CW decides at the last minute to change their minds.
Matt "Two-Fisted" Raub is going to regale you folks with a review of the season premiere soon enough. It is my job to recap what has brought us to this point. I'll summarize what's happened in the show's major storyline so far, not bothering to go into detail of individual episodes or sub-plots that are never mentioned again. If you only want to be caught up on the latest season, just scroll down until you see the words "Seventh Season" in bold. Also, this isn't wikipedia, so I'm going to be explaining things in the way

The CW have given several clips as a sneak peek to the new season of "Smallville". After the collapse of the Fortress of Solitude, Justice League travel to the Arctic to come looking for Clark who is now powerless due to the incident. Meanwhile, Chloe becomes the target of a group that discovers her special ability.
The eight season will start airing on the network on Thursday, September 18 with an episode called "Odyssey". It would be the first time that the show misses its two original cast, Kristin Kreuk aka Lana Lang and Michael Rosenbaum who plays Lex Luthor.
As Luthor is out of the picture, a new villain is brought in. Tess Mercer, played by actress Cassidy Freeman, shows up in Metropolis as the head of LuthorCorp and also the Daily Planet. This character is a reference to Ms. Tessmacher in the Superman films and Mercy in the animated series version.

Fans of Smallville have long been frustrated by the “no flights” portion of producers Al Gough and Miles Millar “no flights, no tights” policy established 7 years ago at the start of the first season. As a matter of fact, as the series has evolved, the fact that Clark (Tom Welling) still does not fly on the show has become pretty ridiculous.
Many other characters on the show have had the ability to fly, including Clark’s cousin Kara (Laura Vandervoort) and other Kryptonians. On top of that, portraying Clark, who is virtually indestructible as having a fear of heights is at this point ridiculous - especially as we enter Smallville’s 8th (and supposedly final) season.
Sure, they’ve thrown us a bone here and there with him making giant “leaps” and actually showing him flying when he was possessed by other characters, but they producers have stubbornly clung to their original premise.

A handful of new photos from the set of Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li have just been posted on the Legend Films website. Not only do we get to see additional photos of Kristin Kreuk as Chun-Li, but we get our first look at Michael Clarke Duncan as Balrog and a few of the locations they're shooting at. Previously, we only had one official photo of Kreuk so this is the first time we've been able to see her "in action" with others on set. There's not enough in these photos to actually start making judgments about the direction of this movie, because looking at these alone makes me think it could be pretty good. My only hesitation is with Michael Clarke Duncan, but maybe it's just a bad photo. Thoughts? We've posted six of the photos below, but you can take a look at a few more over
