The Play’s the Thing for Aniston, Ashton, Demi, Brooke, and More

10 November 2009 2:00 PM, PST | Vanity Fair | See recent Vanity Fair news »

Too many stars to fit in one frame: Anthony Mackie, Brooke Shields, Jennifer Aniston, David Cross, Liev Schrieber, Naomi Watts, Jeremy Sisto, Emmy Rossum, Julia Stiles, and Gaby Hoffmann are among the cast members taking a curtain call after performing in the 24 Hour Plays. Kevin Mazur/Getty Images. It has been an unusually starry fall on Broadway—Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig in A Steady Rain, Jude Law in Hamlet, and, later this month, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury in A Little Night Music, just to name a few. But rarely has there been such assemblage of big names on one Broadway stage as there was last night at the American Airlines Theater. Among the performers were Jennifer Aniston, David Cross, Billy Crudup, Rosario Dawson, John Krasinski, Ashton Kutcher, Eva Mendes, Demi Moore, Rosie Perez, Sam Rockwell, Liev Schrieber, Brooke Shields, Julia Stiles, Amber Tamblyn, and Naomi Watts. Jennifer Plays With Demi, Emily, and Naomi in NYC

10 November 2009 7:00 AM, PST | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

Jennifer Aniston was in La last week for her stylist's wedding, but she popped up in NYC last night to take part in the annual 24 Hour Plays on Broadway. She joined a handful of actor couples for the evening, including Emily Blunt and John Krasinki as well as Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts. Demi Moore was a lot more covered up than her recent W cover, as she posed with husband Ashton Kutcher. Jennifer joined her fellow thespians onstage to sing "Yellow Submarine" and take part in the hastily-written theater exercise, which was held to benefit arts in education programs in public schools. She took her bow next to a similarly-dressed Brooke Shields before moving on for some after-hours fun with Ashton and Demi. View 35 Photos › To see more from the event, just read more. Sin City 2 in 2010, More Updates

31 October 2009 8:00 PM, PDT | MoviesOnline.ca | See recent MoviesOnline news »

Sin City 2 is coming and its been a non stop on and off as to when exactly we would get it. We have talked to Clive Owen and Rosario Dawson about the project in the past and each time the answer has been its coming soon. Today from Mania.com comes confirmation that Sin City 2 will be coming in 2010. They are saying that it will be an entirely original story which contradicts what Frank Miller has said earlier.

According to a writer on Wikipedia Frank Miller's 2nd foray into Sin City will have Nancy avenging Hartigans death by killing off the rest of the Roark family. This story apparently has been confirmed by Frank Miller.

There will be 2 more stories. One will be about Nancy avenging Hartigan's death by killing remaining members of the Roark family. Miller says this will show "a whole new side of Nancy. »

Sin City 2 To Start Production In 2010?

30 October 2009 12:36 PM, PDT | ScreenRant.com | See recent Screen Rant news »

For months now all we’ve really had on the Sin City 2 front is “it’s happening… it’s on its way… it’s coming… at some point!…” Well, maybe not that exactly but you get my point. Back in May this year, we reported that Sin City 2 was finally moving forward, with Rodriguez saying he’d talked to “key players” about the sequel. A couple of months later Alexis Bledel (the blue-eyed girl from the first Sin City) talked about how her character would fit into the sequel considering her character was [Spoiler] presumably murdered by Josh Hartnett’s “The Man” at the end of the first film. [End Spoiler] From what she revealed it leads us to believe it’s going to be – as fellow Screen Rant writer Kofi Outlaw called it – a prequel, midquel and sequel.

However, despite those forward-thinking terms, it all seems like just talk, with no real confirmation of anything… »

Confirmed: 'Sin City 2' to Go Into Production in 2010

29 October 2009 10:59 PM, PDT | Aceshowbiz | See recent Aceshowbiz news »

It has been long rumored that "Sin City 2" will kick off its production in 2010, and producer Stephen L'Heureux of Solipsist Films has recently confirmed the swirling speculation. In an interview with Comics2Film at Mania.com, the filmmaker gave an update to the start of production suggesting the sequel of "Sin City" will be done in the second half of 2010.

On the occasion, L'Heureux also set things straight on what the sequel will be based on. He mentioned that rather than drawing the story from "A Dame to Kill For", the rumored original comics material director Frank Miller produced a decade ago, this second movie in the "Sin City" series will be based on an original script written by Miller.

Beside talking about those plans, the producer also unraveled that Miller is working on a screenplay for "Hard Boiled". As for when the movie will be brought to life, »

'Sin City 2' To Shoot Next Year, 'Hard Boiled' To Follow?

29 October 2009 8:44 AM, PDT | MTV Splash Page | See recent MTV Splash Page news »

The long-awaited "Sin City 2" will finally begin production in the second half of 2010, to be followed by a possible adaptation of Frank Miller’s "Hard Boiled."

According to a report on Mania, “Sin City 2” producer Stephen L'Heureux confirmed that the story will be based upon an original script by Miller, who will once again co-direct the sequel with Robert Rodriguez .

Additionally, L'Heureux revealed that Miller is writing the screenplay adaptation for “Hard Boiled”, which Miller is also attached to direct.

Originally published by Dark Horse in 1990, “Hard Boiled” paired Miller and artist Geof Darrow on an oversized three issue miniseries. The ultra violent story follows an insurance investigator named Carl Seltz who discovers that he is a cyborg who may be the only hope of an enslaved robot population.

However, with “Sin City 2” on deck and “Hard Boiled” still at an early stage of development, it may not happen immediately. »

EW Exclusive: A first look at the SpongeBob SquarePants wedding!

But this exclusive clip from Truth or Square, a one-hour special airing Nov. 6, 8:00 p.m. Edt, on Nickelodeon, has me wondering if maybe I should. I mean, seriously, SpongeBob getting married to Sandy? A primitive multicellular beastie betrothed to a squirrel? I can't say I saw these nuptials coming! Fortunately, a Nickelodeon publicist sent me a release putting the ceremony in context.
