The musical guest on the episode will be Ludacris and T-Pain. "I'm looking forward to hosting the show," Tim said. "I'm not exactly known for my comedy, but then again, if you've been to one of my shows, you might feel differently."

This would be the first time for McGraw to appear on the show.

This weekend on the November 15 episode, Paul Rudd whose latest movie "Role Models" hit the U.S. theaters on Friday, November 7, will host the show

Joaquin Phoenix Quits Acting

30 October 2008 7:53 PM, PDT | From Comicmix.com | See recent Comicmix news

When it comes to Hollywood, Joaquin Phoenix has "been through that." So now, the 34-year-old actor is taking a cue from Sean Connery and quitting the acting business.

In a video interview, Phoenix told E! Online that his upcoming film Two Lovers will be his last performance as an actor. The film's co-star, Casey Affleck, was present during the impromptu announcement. When the interviewer laughed at Phoenix's remarks, the actor got visibly annoyed and emphasized that this wasn't a joke announcement: Phoenix is done. Affleck, clearly taken off guard, further confirmed the news to E!, suggesting the actor will focus on his music full time from here on out.

Later, Phoenix confirmed the news to Extra, saying: "[Two Lovers] will be my last performance as an actor ... I'm not doing films anymore ... I'm working on my music. I'm done. I've been through that."

Phoenix's representatives confirmed the news to Extra. "That is what he told me,

Oscar nominee Joaquin Phoenix is retiring from Hollywood - at the age of 34.

The Walk The Line star announced his plans to move away from acting at a fundraiser for late actor Paul Newman's children's charity on Monday.

Phoenix will instead focus on his budding music career.

He told Extra, "I want to take this opportunity... also to give you the exclusive and just talk a little bit about the fact that this will be my last performance as an actor... I'm not doing films anymore.

"I'm working on my music. I'm done. I've been through that."

And the news has been confirmed by his representative, who says, "That is what he told me."

Phoenix's brother-in-law Casey Affleck, who is married to Summer Phoenix, insists the star is for real: "I don't think he's kidding. He's got music and stuff."

Phoenix has made just one movie this year - romantic drama Two Lovers with Gwyneth Paltrow.

His vocal skills were applauded in 2005 when he recorded the soundtrack for the Johnny Cash biopic Walk The Line. His efforts won him a Grammy award, and he is now working on an album with British rocker Tim Burgess from The Charlatans.

Willing to give the test another go, Selena said she is planning to take one on November 4. However, after the previous failure, she doubts she will pass it. "I'm not feeling that confident about it," she told People before then jokingly adding, "I'm assuming I'll be 30 before I get my license."

Has Johnny Cash’s spirit rested easier since the city of Starkville, Miss. posthumously pardoned him last Fall for a 1965 public intoxication arrest? Whatever the case may be, the inaugural Flower Pickin’ Festival—named for the the Man in Black’s insistence that he was merely admiring some purty plants and Not drunkenly relieving himself upon them when police apprehended him (as the rumors goes)—was a hit, so it’s no surprise that this weekend’s second-annual event offers even more classic country and Cash family blessings.
