I had the privalege of being able to meet Colin, if only for a minute. It was during a special evening heald with him in the centre of Glasgow. It was run by a non profit fan run orginisation named "Glasgow Who". There was an interview with him, a moment where fans could have there own private picture taken with him and the usual autograph signing.

I found him to be a fairly pleasent guy, Down to earth with a great sense of humor. Some of the stories and hhis opinions on "Doctor Who" as well as current television were quite revealing. He had and still to to this day has a great affection for Jon Pertwee who he considers to be one of the finest actors to have played the part. But I believe it was a greater fondness of the man himself as he admits that he always loved william Hartnell Patrick Troughton. he was full of praise for the new show. Although It's hardly exclusive news It was good to hear it come from his own mouth.

A convention is being planned for next year which has already confirmed Liz Sladen aka Sarah jane Smith and Roy Skelton who provided the voice for some of the Daleks in the old series(He was also the voice of Zippy in Rainbow).
