Scarlett Johansson Flattered To Be The Inspiration Behind Katy Perry's "I Kissed A Girl"

17 November 2008 10:31 PM, PST | From icelebz.com | See recent iCelebz news

Scarlett Johansson is "flattered" to have inspired Katy Perry's hit track "I Kissed a Girl." The "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" star - who recently married actor Ryan Reynolds - was unaware she had motivated Katy to pen the risqué record.

She said: "I had no idea about the song, but I should get a cut! It's really flattering, but my lips are kind of taken."

Scarlett also spoke about her feud with Lindsay Lohan - which started when Lindsay was given the lead role in 1998 movie "The Parent Trap" over her and escalated when Lindsay allegedly wrote vulgar words about Scarlett on the wall of a New York toilet - insisting Lindsay is a nobody.

She said: "I really don't know that person. I only met her, like, three times."

Scarlett Johansson Addresses Supposed Feud With Lindsay Lohan on Allure

17 November 2008 6:50 PM, PST | From Aceshowbiz | See recent Aceshowbiz news

Recruited as the cover girl for Allure's December 2008 issue, Scarlett Johansson speaks frankly about her supposed feud with Lindsay Lohan, admitting "I really don't know that person. I only met her, like, three times." When asked about Lindsay allegedly writing something rude about her on a bathroom wall in New York City two and a half years ago, Scarlett claims she really has no idea how it all started. "That's what I heard. I don't know what the motivation was behind that. I remember it was something really vulgar - I mean, shockingly so, like, 'Whoa, what, who are you?'" she says.

Beside addressing on the much reported feud, Scarlett also expresses her feeling for singer Katy Perry who penned the popular tune "I Kissed a Girl" after her. "I had no idea [about the song] - I should get a cut! That's flattering, but my lips are kind of taken," the movie beauty tells Allure.

Here are highlights: On the story that Lindsay Lohan wrote profanities about Scarlett in a NYC bathroom a few years ago: "That's what I heard. I don’t know what the motivation was behind that. Some stars get fan mail. Scarlett Johansson got a platinum-certified single. When told that her lips inspired Katy Perry to pen her hit "I Kissed A Girl," Johansson, who recently married Ryan Reynolds, tells December's Allure, "That's flattering, but my lips are kind of taken." In fact, until Perry's melody was pointed out to her, "I had no idea [about the song]," says Johansson, 24. "I should get a cut!" Yet when the topic of how she met Reynolds, 32, comes up, Johansson cuts off the conversation. "Nobody knows.," she says. "It's private. It's our story." Gadget of the week: Sennheiser Mx W1 wireless stereo earphones

13 November 2008 4:50 AM, PST | From Boxwish.com | See recent BoxWish news

Here at Boxwish, we’re well aware that there’s a fine line between respectable admiration and gormless gushing. The former is for sensible and mature folk such as ourselves, while the latter is for young ‘uns that wee themselves a little bit over Hannah Montana. But for all our best intentions, our self control went out the window when we spotted the gadget as flaunted by Ryan Reynolds during the opening sequence of rom-com Definitely, Maybe. As political consultant Will Hayes he pounds the pavement of Manhattan (cool backdrop) listening to “the soundtrack of his life” otherwise known as “Everyday People” by Sly and the Family Stone (cool song – get the soundtrack) and on the most fantastic wireless earphones we’ve seen in a while (cool, cool and again – cool) and we’ve spotted an incredible lookalike that nabs our gadget of the week blog spot.

Ryan Reynolds gorged himself on sweet treats after completing the New York City marathon at the beginning November.

Joined by his proud mum Tammy, the newlywed scoffed a feast after completing the great race in three hours and 50 minutes.

The actor, who wed Scarlett Johansson in September, says, "You're just craving anything. I think I sat down to a 10,000-calorie dinner.

"Onlookers were just in slack-jawed horror, watching me put back two chocolate sundaes, three tuna wrap type things... I had some spaghetti and meatballs. I flossed later, and a small child fell out. It was pretty gross."

And as for his new bride, who missed her husband's great achievement, the Van Wilder star explains she was busy campaigning for Barack Obama two days before the Senator was elected as the next U.S. President.

It’s amazing how different America and indeed the world have become since the last Mid Week Movie News Wrap Up. No I’m no talking about the Us Presidential election - I’m talking about some of the nasty comments aimed at me following my Quantum of Solace review.

This week:

There’s movement on another Smokin’ Aces; Antonio Banderas is Dali; Jack Black Travels while Soderbergh goes Gilda and Gangster.

1. Joe Carnahan has stated on his official blog that a prequel to his action packed, star-filled film Smokin’ Aces is in the offing.

Old Smokin’ Joe said:

“Finally, some actual ‘Smokin Aces’ news. Universal has officially greenlit the

prequel and we are underway. Cameos will abound. Trust me.”

Does this mean Ben Affleck, Alicia Keys or Ryan Reynolds? Who knows, but the sequel will be going Direct to DVD so don’t expect a whole lot of top tier talent.
