• When Rihanna was asked what famous person she would most like to mute, she said Tila Tequila. Good answer, even though Tila barely qualifies as a famous person. Tila saw a chance to score some attention and wrote a long rambling blog post about some Rihanna rumor. Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have taken to flirting online - they posted a series of messages on Twitter.com, uploading pictures of themselves to form a photographic conversation.
The couple was sitting in separate rooms of their Los Angeles home on Thursday night when Moore wrote a greeting on her hand, took a photo and posted it to Kutcher on her Twitter page. They went on to discuss dinner plans by inking words on their skin and even allowing Moore's teenage daughter Tallulah to join in.
The family fun turn more adult at the end of the conversation with Moore scrawling "Bed time?" across her hand and chest, followed by, "Race you to the bedroom," with Kutcher replying, "4 sure (sic)." »

Mischa Barton has spoken out about the cancellation of her latest television show, "The Beautiful Life." The show was cancelled after just two episodes after disappointing ratings and Barton is pretty upset about it.
Barton played the lead role in the fashion-based series. The show was executive produced by actor Ashton Kutcher. But Barton isn't keeping quiet on the outcome and is furious the show wasn't given a chance to gain significant followers.
The actress told Britain's Heat magazine, "It was all so political. They didn't give it a chance. I'm sure it would have found its audience because it was a great show and was really high fashion. It takes a while for stuff to find a following. I feel more bad for the other girls in it, because it deserved to be seen."

Mila Kunis is certainly becoming a bigger movie star than everyone on her former show, Fox’s “That 70’s Show”. (Okay, that Ashton Kutcher guy might give her a run for her movie. Maybe.) I always thought it would be Laura Prepon, or the skinny guy, who would be the one we’d remember as “he used to be on that little TV show”. Instead, it’s Kunis, with her squeaky voice, who keeps getting cast in high-profile films over and over again. Go figure. Anyways, BlackBook has an article on Kunis (it’s fawning and predictably mush journalism, of course), and among the many things they discuss, is Kunis’ role in Darren Aronofsky’s upcoming supernatural ballerina drama “Black Swan”. And, of course, the subject of the infamous rumored Kunis-Natalie Portman sex scene came up. “Sure,” she says, with a roll of her eyes. “It’s two girls making out, »

Mischa Barton was furious when her latest TV show The Beautiful Life was axed after just two episodes - insisting network bosses didn't give the programme "a chance."
The actress landed the lead role as a supermodel in the fashion-based drama series, which was executive produced by Hollywood star Ashton Kutcher.
But bosses at America's The CW network scrapped the show after just two weeks on air, following disappointing ratings.
Barton is adamant The Beautiful Life should have been given time to find followers, insisting the trend of chopping TV shows in such a short time will soon cripple the industry.
She tells Britain's Heat magazine, "It was all so political. They didn't give it a chance. I'm sure it would have found its audience because it was a great show and was really high fashion. It takes a while for stuff to find a following. I feel more bad for the other girls in it, because it deserved to be seen." »

If you noticed an abnormal amount of red in your Twitter feed today, it's because much of the Twitterverse and Twitter-Wood population was observing World AIDS Day. Russell Brand, Paris Hilton, Virginia Madsen and Ashton Kutcher were among those tweeting for awareness -- though Brand predictably did so with lighter sensibilities.
In other tweetage, Rainn Wilson has officially attempted to sooth any offense John Cusack might have taken from a comment he made about "2012." Check out the exchange after the jump along with the "New Moon" wolf pack as you've never seen them before, an epic Stanley Kubrick book and Diablo Cody's kitty litter smell problems. Recognition, a spot on tour and a paycheck are all a part of what it means to be in the So You Think You Can Dance top 10. Los Angeles — These days, the eyes of Hollywood are upon the "New Moon" stars as they move out of their comfort zones and select non-"Saga" film projects. And few are more intriguing than Taylor Lautner's upcoming movie "Valentine's Day," which has the young heartthrob appearing opposite rumored girlfriend Taylor Swift in a subplot that revolves around them mostly, well, swapping spit.
"They just had to make out," grinned one of their co-stars, Emma Roberts, as she recently remembered a day watching the two young superstars filming the movie. "That's all I saw."

Since The Dish Rag is still pretty shocked over how on earth anyone slipped by the secret service we thought "When Michaele and Tareq Met Barack" seems like a fitting title for this scenario. If Ashton Kutcher's MTV series was still airing we'd almost think the nation was being Punk'd.
Especially since the Virginia couple -- Michaele and Tareq Salahi-- who crashed the White House state dinner actually shook hands and met President Barack Obama that night.
Or, to put it another way, a pair of reality TV wannabes/supposed socialites (Translation: loons) actually got within spitting distance of the President of the United States without intense security clearance.
Craziest. Story. Ever. (Well, one of them anyway. We do cover Hollywood 24/7 after all).
The Secret Service admits they are too blame and are "deeply concerned and embarrassed," as well they should be.

It's clear the "Keeping Up With the Kardashian's" starlet received a professional spray tan, but her body looks incredible in the tiny two-piece bathing suit.

Dont Make Me Mad What's worked in the ad biz since the days of Don Draper may not work anymore. | Photograph Courtesy of AMC
My father-in-law uses an expression, "Attitude is everything." It's his nonconfrontational way of saying, "Stop complaining." This expression has been on my mind lately when I talk to media and advertising executives about the disruption and uncertainty in their industries. I hear a lot of nostalgia, resistance, and barely contained anger as lucrative ways of doing business are undercut by shifts in technology, new spending patterns, and client enthusiasm for ideas that have never been tried before. It's no wonder that AMC's Mad Men has become such a cultural touchstone. As a throwback to another, perhaps simpler business era, there is something comforting about the series, despite its moral ambiguities.
Which brings me to Ashton Kutcher. There is something odd -- something uncomfortable for us -- »

How Ashton Kutcher is pioneering a new kind of media business, bridging Hollywood, technology, and Madison Avenue. Really.
On The Job Everyone at Katalyst has a role in the Katalyst HQ mockumentary Web series, including cofounder Jason Goldberg, left, and new-media director Sarah Ross, above right. This year's sponsor is Nestlé's Hot Pockets, below right.
I've walked into the middle of a swine flu outbreak.
"Here, put this on!" Ashton Kutcher bounds from around the corner in his loft-style Hollywood office, wearing a paper face mask and holding another one. "You can choose whether to wear it or not, but we all are. We can't afford to get sick!" Within seconds, I am surrounded by a fast-moving herd of masked Flip-cam marauders, »

One of the most obnoxious films I.ve seen in a while, .Spread. can.t be seen as anything more than a vanity project for Ashton Kutcher - who is clearly trying for Richard Gere in .American Gigolo. but ends up more Rob Schneider in .Deuce Bigalow.. I can understand the possible intentions of trying to modernize something like .American Gigolo. or Warren Beatty.s .Shampoo. but the no-frills script by Jason Dean Hall, Kutcher.s lifeless performance and the slick but perfunctory direction from David Mackenzie make the film as vacuous as its protagonist. Kutcher stars as Nikki, a hustling La playboy who preys for wealthy middle-aged women at various clubs who he can sexually pleasure while being provided a »
