Christina Aguilera is determined to lose her baby weight. The "Dirrty" singer - who gave birth to son Max, her first child with husband Jordan Bratman, in January - admits she is finding it tough to shift her last few post-pregnancy pounds.
She said: "Now I am back in the gym trying to eat as healthy as I can except for my one cheat day a week."
However, Christina, 27, confesses the lack of calorific treats is making her mad because she loves food so much.
She added: "I hate deprivation. I just can't do it. If I feel deprived I get really angry. I don't do the no-carbs thing. I have to have my carbs. No cheating for me means no real junk food."

Christina Aguilera has spoken out in support of gay marriage, saying legislation to stop it is "unfair". The singer insisted that same-sex couples should be given the freedom to wed. "They're constantly pushing to be heard and given equal rights. Christina Aguilera looked a little bit more natural (maybe?) on her way out of Fred Segal with Jordan last night. The new parents left without any bags, but held each other's hand instead. Christina's got a busy few weeks ahead, including an appearance on this Sunday's final Trl, as well as a performance at next weekend's American Music Awards. Christina also recently talked about her new look, saying, "I was very inspired by the look and feel of that [pop-art] genre, your Jane Birkins, your Blondies, females who have come before who have done this so many times and so well — almost as an homage to them. Also, speaking of Warhol, Nico from the Velvet Underground . . . so it all kind of ties in to a pop-art feel and twist, with a mod look. But a futuristic taste of what's to come." She also laughed off the frequent comparison to Lady Gaga because,

Christina Aguilera looked dramatic as usual out in La last night at a launch party for fashion photographer Matthew Rolston's new book, BeautyLIGHT. That's not the only release she's celebrating — her new album "Keeps Gettin' Better" also hits shelves today. She recently opened up to Rolling Stone about the many challenges she faces as a solo female artist. She said, “I’m running a business and sometimes being the boss of your own empire and creation, you have to be assertive. Being a female, that comes with being labeled a ‘b*tch’ and given titles that men wouldn’t receive. But if that’s what I’m going to be called by being assertive and knowing who I am and what I want out of life, so be it. I wear that label proudly.” Christina isn't one to take the safe route, so it's no surprise she won't back down to any critics.

Max gave her "a new sense of life, a new way of looking at myself," the singer tells Entertainment Tonight Canada. "I talk about being a super girl in the song 'Keeps Getting Better' and really that's due in great deal to the fact that I've had a complete new appreciation for women in general, for what we're capable of doing, of what our bodies are capable of undergoing, and creating” since the Jan.
