Comedy legends Robin Williams, Joan Rivers and Rowan Atkinson performed a thrilling show on Wednesday to celebrate British royal Prince Charles' 60th birthday.
Monty Python legend John Cleese and the actor at the centre of Russell Brand's controversial prank phone call saga, Andrew Sachs, also appeared at the event to mark the Prince's milestone birthday.
Williams and British comedian Bill Bailey bravely poked fun at the future British monarch in a surprise duet, singing "Your momma ain't goin' anywhere, she's gonna hang on to that crown", in reference to Queen Elizabeth II's 56-year long reign as the head of the British state.
Earlier this week (beg10Nov08) Williams performed at a student night at the British capital's London School of Economics (LSE) - marking his return to the U.K. stand-up scene after a 25-year absence.

London, England (Bang) -Britain's Prince Charles celebrated his 60th birthday Wednesday night with a comedy gala featuring performances from John Cleese, Robin Williams and Joan Rivers.
The prince - who reaches the landmark age Friday - was accompanied by his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, and son Prince Harry as he attended the "We Are Most Amused: A Comedy Celebrating the 60th Birthday of Hrh The Prince of Wales" show at London's New Wimbledon Theater.
While Charles attempted to hide his amusement at some of the comedians' more politically incorrect punchlines, he failed to conceal his laughter when Williams jokingly asked the audience whether Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin was the "love child of Ronald Reagan and Posh Spice."
The show also featured a reunion of former "Fawlty Towers" co-stars Cleese - who also acted as master of ceremonies for the evening - and Andrew Sachs, who famously

Latest: Two of comedienne Joan Rivers' personal employees have testified in Phil Spector's murder retrial, accusing the music producer of using guns to threaten women.
Spector is being retried on charges of murdering 40-year-old actress Lana Clarkson by shooting her in the mouth at his Alhambra, California mansion in February 2003.
Rivers' security guard, retired New York city police detective Vincent Tannazzo, told the jury at Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday that Spector had been ejected from the star's Christmas parties in two consecutive years after allegedly pulling out a gun and declaring all women should be shot.
Tannazzo claimed Spector was "out of control" and "ranting" at both holiday gatherings, and during one incident, he even declared that women "deserve a bullet in their heads".
Rivers' manager Dorothy Melvin, who dated Spector in the 1990s, also took the witness stand and recalled how she had been threatened on one occasion by Spector, who had been wielding a shotgun.
Melvin described a visit to Spector's Pasadena home in 1993 when she had fallen asleep - only to awake and find Spector outside pointing a gun at her car.
When she protested, he allegedly smacked her in the face with the shotgun and chased her down the driveway as she fled the scene in her car.
A jury reached a deadlock in favour of convicting Spector last year, prompting a Los Angeles judge to declare a mistrial.
The retrial got underway in October and is expected to last several months.

Forget Oliver Stone's W. (which is sorta boring if you ask me), we are going major and leaving no stone unturned as we set out to cast a feature film adaptation of the 2008 Presidential Election. From the media elite to the folks at the top of the ticket there is hardly a name we leave off this list and myself along with the help of my casting directors Laremy Legel and David Frank have put together a list of names that won't necessarily break the bank of our producers, but represent some of the finest talent in Hollywood and will be put to good use. Currently Eric Roth (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Forrest Gump and The Insider) is writing the script for Steven Soderbergh to direct. Roth has shown the ability to tap into a political thrill ride with The Insider but also shown a more comedic

After watching the third episode of the HBO series True Blood, I've come to the conclusion that Ryan Kwanten's body deserves special consideration at next year's Emmy awards, and that Alan Ball has presented us with one of the most vampire-batcrap insane hours ever seen on TV.
We start off where we left last week, with Sookie paying a visit to her bloodsucking paramour,??Bill, only to be confronted at his door by the Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living, And Became Effed Up Vampires.
There are three of them, sort of a Mod Squad: Vampire Edition (one white, one black ...one bald). There's Diane, who wears a gold lame dress and a wig stolen from Chaka Khan circa Through The Fire, Malcolm, whose head keeps distracting me (he looks like he overdosed on Ronco's Spray-On Hair??... seriously, I kept expecting Ron Popeil to come on screen to give

Comedienne Joan Rivers has taken aim at Hollywood beauty Angelina Jolie - branding the sexy actress "stupid".
The outspoken funnywoman used the Tomb Raider star as the centrepiece for her gags while being interviewed on U.K. TV show GMTV.
And Rivers didn't hold back.
She told reporters, ""Well, I've worked with stupid actresses - I've worked with Angelina Jolie - she saw a sign that said 'Wet Floor' one time, and she did!"
"I mean she's attractive, but not a bright girl. Stunningly beautiful but stupid.she would have asked Stevie Wonder, 'What's your favourite colour?'"
It's not the first time Rivers has attacked celebrities on British TV - in June she was asked to leave an interview on U.K. show Loose Women after she called actor Russell Crowe a "f**king s**t".

Movie star James Garner's author daughter Gigi has collected health, beauty and career tips from Hollywood's biggest divas for a new book.
Girl Talk features anecdotes and contributions from Jamie Lee Curtis, Shari Belafonte, Lucie Arnaz and Joan Rivers as well as advice from leading ladies across America for the self-help bible.
Garner says, "Women are compassionate listeners who seem to know intuitively when to offer advice or merely a hand to hold or a shoulder to lean on.
"I gathered advice and insights from dozens of accomplished women across the country. Among these are an elementary school teacher, a prison warden, a company president, and a professional angler.
"In the book, women share with others their insights and tips on such topics as health, beauty, fashion, careers, emotional highs and lows, and even pets."
Actress Sally Struthers offers tips for remembering the names of people you meet, while singer Naomi Judd offers advice for removing stains.
Garner adds, "Girl Talk is like having your girlfriend over for coffee.
"My father taught me, by example as well as by words, that women are special creatures. As I worked on this book, I realised over and over again how true that is."

I have grave misgivings about a fourth Jason Bourne movie for a lot of reasons. Primarily, I have an issue with tinkering with the legacy of a near-perfect trilogy. You couldn't end it any better than Bourne Ultimatum, and the series definitely got better as it went on. Can't say that about, well, anything else. The second movie trumped the first and the third movie was the best of the bunch, and in fact, it's the best action movie pound-for-pound since Raiders of the Lost Ark.
So that's the main reason. I also don't know what you do for an encore. Where does the character go from here? Organically, I don't think there's much else for him to do, so that poses a problem, as it did for Indiana Jones.
Another reason: Film goes better in threes. Fours are troublesome. They're not natural, like Joan Rivers or left-handed people.

Joan Rivers has put her ousting from the British TV show Loose Women to comedic good use. In an interview with the London Daily Mirror Rivers recounted what happened during a commercial break after she used two verboten terms to describe Russell Crowe, whom she once attempted to interview during a red-carpet affair. Saying that she expected her words to be bleeped (in fact she warned the technical crew on camera, "Get ready to bleep this" before letting loose), Rivers said, "I was having a great time and everybody was laughing. Then these people -- these Idiots -- came running on to the set and Ripped me off my seat and dragged me off. They were saying, 'Let's go, let's go, let's go.' I thought I was being arrested. Then I thought something must be wrong at my house. I have a sick dog at home and I thought, 'Oh God, it must be Lulu,' because they bundled me away so quickly. My toes are still bleeding from where they were dragged across the carpet. They ruined a beautiful pair of Manolo Blahniks. I mean, I'm not a young woman. I might have osteoporosis and they could have snapped my limbs. I didn't even have time to say goodbye. When the audience saw my empty chair I worried that because of my age, they might think I'd wet it because my diaper leaked." Rivers is 75. Rivers said that the show's producers said they were worried that they'd be fined as a result of her remarks. "I'm worried I won't be paid."

Joan Rivers was apparently too loose for the producers of Loose Women, a British daytime talk show. Discussing her role as a red-carpet interviewer, Rivers said that most of the celebrities she interviews are cordial to her but every once in a while, she said, she gets one like Russell Crowe, who is -- "Get ready to bleep this" -- at which point she used two verboten terms to describe Crowe. Other members of the panel reacted in astonishment to Rivers' remarks, and one of them reminded her that the show was live and that her words could not be bleeped. When the show resumed after a commercial break, Rivers was gone. On Tuesday, she issued an apology for her remarks, but by then the TV segment had gone viral. Latest: Comedienne Joan Rivers has issued a not-so-formal apology for her use of expletives during an appearance on live British television on Tuesday.
The outspoken star sparked outrage in the U.K. after she called actor Russell Crowe a "f**king s**t" while speaking to co-hosts of daytime talk show Loose Women.
The flustered presenters immediately apologised for Rivers' foul language while giggling about the slip-up, but show bosses weren't quite so light on their guest - they asked Rivers to leave the set during the commercial break.
And now the star has publicly apologised for her offending words, according to People.com.
A statement from Rivers reads: "Yes, I swore, and I'm so f***king sorry.
"No one told me the TV show Loose Women was a reality show and that I would be voted off.
"It's funny: offstage, I hardly ever use profanity. My favourite four-letter word is shop."

Comedienne Joan Rivers was asked to leave the set of a U.K. daytime chat show on Tuesday after calling Russell Crowe names.
The controversial funny lady was talking about her experiences on the red carpets at award shows in Hollywood, where she famously drills stars about their fashion sense - and occasionally abuses them on live TV.
But producers on British live show Loose Women were far from amused when Rivers called Oscar winner a "f**king s**t".
Rivers warned the crew to "get ready to bleep," before making her remarks known, but she didn't realise the show doesn't come with a censor - and her comments went out to viewers live.
The flustered co-hosts immediately apologised for Rivers' foul language while giggling about the slip-up, but show bosses weren't quite so light on their guest - they reportedly asked Rivers to leave the set during the commercial break.
A spokesperson for the show says, "Guests are always briefed that it is a live daytime show and are reminded not to swear or use inappropriate language.
"An editorial decision was taken that Joan Rivers should not appear in the final part of the programme. We would like to apologise to Loose Women viewers for the inappropriate language used on today's show."
Rivers says, "Everyone apologised. It was hilariously funny."
