Possession(s), a new Australian short, featured one of the most notable launches in recent memory. To coincide with the film’s release a famous Peter Booth artwork, Painting (Man With Bandaged Head), was sold off in The Deutscher and Hackett Important Fine Art Auction.
The tie-in between the film and the auction comes in the shape of actor Laurence Fuller who used the painting, which he owned, as inspiration for the dark, brooding short. His character Frank, upon seeing the Peter Booth work, becomes embroiled with a sense of obsession; he simply has to own the piece and will do anything to make it so. However, it soon becomes clear that Frank is not the only one consumed by the desire to possess.
Laurence Fuller shines in the lead role and it is easy to see why he is a much sought after young actor. Having attended the Method »

Question: If nearly every fan out there thinks you're going to be killed off of a hit television show, what do you do? You talk to E! about it, naturally! At least, that's what Kyle MacLachlan chose to do after rumors started swirling that he will be the "fan favorite" who will die in a fiery plane crash on Desperate Housewives. So is his character Orson (Mr. Marcia Cross) going six feet under? We already reported that—Spoiler Alert!—he and Bree (Marcia) will be trapped inside their house. Hmmm... Oh, and what's the latest on Glee and Gossip Girl? Could Betty (America Ferrera) be pregnant? And seriously, what the bejeezus is up with... »

E! Online is reporting that there won't be just two deaths on the much-hyped Desperate Housewives plane crash, but five. Yes, five. A plane is set to crash on the manicured lawn and picket fences of Wisteria Lane's Hodge-Cross residence in the ABC dramedy's December mid-season cliffhanger on the 6th, and not just two people will die, as previously reported, but five. We also got wind of why the little aircraft will crash - two passengers getting into an argument.
Is Orson (Kyle MacLachlan) one of these five? One of the clues Desperate Housewives insiders have been dispersing is that one of the casualties is a fan favorite, and the intarwebs have been abuzz with Orson as the most likely candidate.
Potential spoiler after the cut.

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show returned to New York City last night, where the girls stripped down to their lingerie despite the chilly weather outside. There were some playful moments throughout the show, but perhaps the biggest surprise was Heidi Klum. Just six weeks after giving birth to her daughter Lou, Heidi said she was hosting not walking for the event, but she still took to the catwalk in a sexy getup and strode the carpet in a tiny Lbd. Fergie got into the spirit performing with the Black Eyed Peas on stage while models like Selita Ebanks, Miranda Kerr and Chanel Iman walked. Marissa Miller was the chosen one to wear the diamond studded bra this year. On the red carpet, both Heidi and Fergie both showed off some leg on the famous pink carpet where they were joined by Gossip Girl Michelle Trachtenberg. There were, naturally, some men »

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas….on Wisteria Lane (sorry, I didn't what other joke to open with). And Christmas on Wisteria Lane means neighborly gatherings and decorating of outside trees with elaborate decorations that wouldn't last one hour in a Canadian snowstorm and would never, ever happen anywhere in Canada. Seriously.
We've already posted photos for the November 29th episode, but now ABC has released promo photos and a synopsis for the December 6th episode. I'm guessing the Dh residents will have a little time to enjoy Christmas before that giant plane falls out of the sky and onto their lawns.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie weren't the only stars who headed out for the Moca 30th Anniversary Gala in La on Saturday night. The Jolie-Pitts skipped the red carpet, but there was more than enough star power even without the A-List couple. Kate Bosworth, Eva Mendes and Jessica Alba showed some leg in shorter dresses while Rachel Zoe and Kate Beckinsale stuck with their floor-skimming looks. The event looks like it was a huge success and they had at least one happy attendee - Rachel Zoe twittered about how much she loved the mixing of art and fashion worlds. The museum's art wasn't the only thing on display for the night - Lady Gaga performed for the crowd which also included some cute loved-up couples. Gaga played the piano and sang, wearing an outfit designed by Frank Gehry, Muccia Prada and Baz Luhrmann which were all part of an art piece. »

Somewhere in between Bronx and Bob, there are a whole host of celebrity baby names that live on the fringe between “out there” and “traditional.” According to nameberry.com co-founder Pamela Redmond-Satran, these so-called “outlier” names have the added benefit of being “truly original” while remaining recognizable as established, tried-and-true names.
Among Pamela’s favorites are Paulina, as recently chosen by former baseball star Mike Piazza. “Her middle name Sophia might be a trendy top ten favorite,” Pamela notes, “but Paulina, which has that same feminine exoticism, is a fresher choice that could launch a new trend.” Bronwyn, as chosen »

There were no ghoulish masks or intricate costumes for Kyle MacLachlan this Halloween.
Instead, the 50-year-old actor, who showed up at Heidi Klum’s 10th Annual Halloween Party in a t-shirt and baseball hat covered in bits of food, played the part he knows best: father of 15-month-old son Callum Lyon.
“I just came tonight, I didn’t think I needed a costume,” he tells Celebrity Baby Blog.
“We had breakfast this morning and then had a little bit of lunch with broccoli and there was a little bit of cereal. For dinner we had macaroni and »
