The 20-time Grammy winner beat out Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger, who came in at numbers 11 and 16! Put that in your pipe and smoke it! Ray Charles was the #2 winner, followed by Elvis Presley in third. The #4 spot goes to Sam Cooke, with John Lennon at #5. Sir Mick Jagger says performing live can be "orgasmic." The Rolling Stones frontman has likened being on stage to having sex, insisting they are both highly pleasurable experiences.
He said: "Is it like sex? I don't know. Is there an orgasmic moment? Not that there necessarily has to be in sex. It's a different kind of thing. At times, you have to be more calculated about what you do."
Although the 65-year-old musician still gets a thrill out of touring, Jagger also enjoys having a private life away from the spotlight.
He explained: "It's a great thing to do but you don't want to be doing it all the time."

Latest: Sir Mick Jagger's ex-wife Bianca has offered to settle the dispute over her recently found $295,000 (GBP160,675) ring - by giving the reward money to charity.
Former model Jagger was in Salzburg, Austria in August when she realised she had misplaced the platinum and aquamarine band.
The jewellery was subsequently discovered by Reinhard Ringler, who came forward to claim the $13,000 (GBP8,175) reward he is entitled to under Austrian law - which states the finder be given five per cent of the item's value or 10,000 Euros.
But Jagger initially refused to pay, because of the "long delay" in handing the item over to police.
Ringler claimed he thought the gem was of little value and gave it to his 13-year-old daughter, before handing it in eight days after the loss was reported by the country's press.
But now Jagger has offered to give 90 per cent of the reward money to charity Amnesty International, and 10 per cent to Ringler's daughter.
Ringler's lawyer Paul Kreuzberger says, "I assume, however, that Mr. Ringler will not accept the offer."

Supergroups can be a tricky beast. Sometimes, they bring out best in everyone involved. Other times, they're an experiment best left in the lab. Either way, the allure of so much star power in a single place can often be too much to resist. So despite our best efforts to raise a cynical eyebrow on this one, it looks, well, kinda fun: Mick Jagger is angling for a star-studded collaboration with David Bowie and Elton John for the 2012 Olympics in London.

The Rolling Stones have reportedly been booked out to perform at the opening ceremony of 2012 Olympics games and the band's singer Mick Jagger wants to be joined on stage by David Bowie and Elton John, according to Ok! Magazine. "Mick feels the Olympics coming to London is a huge honor - and wants to make his own gesture with the band," a source tells the publication.
Other big musicians who may perform at the upcoming event include Phil Collins, Sting, Van Morrison, Pink Floyd's David Gilmour, and Led Zeppelin's guitarist Jimmy Page. The source explains, "It's early stages but Page, Bowie, and Morrison are already involved, although no one is quite sure yet how the show will play out in its entirety."
In a further statement, the source reveals that the singers may "take over the field on a giant stage." "The Olympics people hope to use the

Sir Mick Jagger's ex-wife Bianca has been evicted from her New York apartment after court officials ruled she could not list the pad as her "primary residence" while living in the city on a tourist visa.
The state Court of Appeals upheld a ruling on former model/actress Bianca Jagger's eviction from her $4,600 (GBP2,944) a-month Park Avenue apartment on Thursday.
Nicaraguan-born Jagger - who also has a home in London - is in New York on a B2 visa, requiring a "principal, actual dwelling place" outside the United States.
Court officials state: "Under the Rent Stabilization Code, a landlord may recover possession of a rent stabilised apartment from a tenant whose lease has expired if the apartment is not occupied by the tenant... as his or her primary residence."
But Jagger insists she's only being evicted because she sued her landlord after complaining of water leaks and mould.
She reportedly continued to pay her rent into an escrow account despite deeming the apartment unlivable during the three years prior to her eviction.
A judge will decide whether she or landlord Katz Park Avenue is entitled to the money.
Jagger tells the New York Post: "I was a good tenant. I was paying my rent. What I expected in return was a habitable apartment, not one that would endanger my health.
"What people need to think about when they look at my case is, 'Are tenants being protected by the law, or are landlords allowed to use the courts to get rid of tenants who have reasons to be concerned?'"

Eva Mendes has confessed a secret crush on veteran rock legend Sir Mick Jagger.
The sexy star admits she fell to pieces when she ran into the Rolling Stone in a hotel elevator in France four years ago - and then blew her chances of looking cool when the pair met again.
Mendes, 34, says, "I literally collapsed when he got out a floor later. He's delicious, he still looks really good."
She adds of their second meeting, "I thought: 'He's never going to remember me,' so I just say: 'Hi, I'm Eva, nice to meet you,' and he says: 'Oh, I think we met in Paris.'
"I screamed: 'Oh my God, you remember me?' The whole facade falls and I was a complete geek."
Jagger is a producer on Mendes' new movie The Women.

Sir Mick Jagger's daughter Elizabeth has reportedly quit modelling and set her sights on a career as an actress.
Jagger - whose mother is Texan model Jerry Hall - has decided not to renew a lucrative modelling contract with British high street chain Marks + Spencer so she can move to New York to attend a stage school.
The 24-year-old, first took to the catwalk at the age of 14 and subsequently landed a string of high profile contracts, including a deal with cosmetics giant Lancome.
But she has now reportedly quit to try her luck in Hollywood.
A source tells British newspaper The Mail on Sunday, "Lizzie's heart is set on acting and she doesn't want to harm her chances of success in Hollywood by being categorised as a 'model-turned-actress'."
The beauty has dabbled in acting before, appearing in 2002 coming-of-age film Igby Goes Down alongside Cruel Intentions star Ryan Phillipe and Jurassic Park star Jeff Goldblum.

Eva Mendes took a break from all her Fashion Week duties last night to attend a screening of The Women in NYC with her costars Jada Pinkett Smith, Meg Ryan, and Debi Mazar. Unlike last week's big premiere in La, Annette Bening and Debra Messing sat this one out, but Julia Stiles and Bette Midler stepped in. Even Mick Jagger, who is one of the film's producers, joined them for the afterparty at the Gramercy Park Hotel — though it probably wasn't hard to convince him to spend the evening surrounded by beautiful ladies. The reviews for this movie aren't exactly raves, but hopefully the all-star women cast can still bring out the audiences. To see more photos from the evening, just read more. Some might be quick to dismiss this week as part of the post-summer lull, but others might see it as a week of films that have been years in the making . it's been 13 since the now re-paired Robert De Niro and Al Pacino were last on screen together, while Diane English's remake of "The Women" took 12 to make it to the big screen, and the Flaming Lips' "Christmas on Mars" spent a mere seven years in the offing. As for fans of the Coen brothers, it only seems like forever since "No Country for Old Men."
Another week, another 9/11 conspiracy film, this one actually getting released on the seventh anniversary of the tragedy. Loosely inspired by "The Maltese Falcon," this Dv noir offers something of a date movie for far-left conspiracy theorists who take issue with perceived abuse of power on the part of our government.

Original artwork of The Rolling Stones' famous "lips and tongue" symbol is now in the collection box of Victoria and Albert Museum in London. The hand-painted black and white work has been bought by the museum at an auction in the United States for $92,500.
Half of the cash is reportedly going to a charity organization named the Art Fund. Meanwhile, the rest will be used by John Pasche, who was paid only 50 pounds for creating the logo, to finance his little boy's education. "I have an 11-year-old son and this money is going to go towards his education," John says.
In 1970, the Rolling Stones were frustrated by bland designs which were provided by their label, Decca Records. They began looking for a design student to help creating a new logo and chose John for the job. The logo is designed with a combination of Mick Jagger's famous lips and the band's rebellious edge.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy's singer wife Carla Bruni has denied she once had thirty lovers, despite boasting about them in a song.
The former model Bruni dated Sir Mick Jagger and Eric Clapton before settling down with Sarkozy earlier this year.
And she shocked fans by referring to "my thirty lovers" in her recently released album Comme Si de Rien N'etait.
But the ex-model insists her controversial lyrics are down to "poetic license".
She says, "It's not that I had a lot of lovers. It's that I never hide them. It's a different thing. I have not one day of regret."

French first lady Carla Bruni has posed nude so many times, there could be hundreds of saucy snaps of her in circulation.
The former model dated Sir Mick Jagger and Eric Clapton before giving up her career in front of the camera to marry French president Nicolas Sarkozy earlier this year.
Before Bruni retired from her lucrative modelling career, she stripped off for a number of arty photoshoots - and she fears many more naked pictures of her will eventually surface.
She says, "I never realised how many nude pictures I did before I met Nicolas."
In April, a 1993 photo of Bruni was sold at a U.S. auction for $91,000 (GBP45,500) - more than 60 times the expected price.
