A host of stars gathered in New York on Thursday night to pay tribute to Hollywood funnyman Ben Stiller.
The actor was honoured at the city's Museum of the Moving Image gala for his contribution to film, with past recipients of the award including Tom Cruise, Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg.
And a string of celebrities turned out to congratulate the star on his achievement, including Robert De Niro, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, Mike Myers, Adam Sandler and Jack Black - who all gave their own tributes to Stiller at the Big Apple's Cipriani venue.
Rapper Combs joked with the crowd, "I put Ben in my video for Bad Boy for Life. I thought he'd return the favour. But I guess I wasn't black enough to be in Tropic Thunder. Robert Downey Jr. was a little blacker. But that's fine."
Austin Powers star Myers added, "Ben is really good-looking and, because of my arrogance, I assumed he wasn't funny."
And once Stiller took to the stage to accept the honour, he set about dedicating the award to his favourite musician - U2 frontman Bono.
He told the audience, "Just so I have something in common with him other than knowing all the words to Achtung, Baby."

Next summer's Judd Apatow movie is Funny People, starring Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, and Mrs. Apatow, Leslie Mann. This is really an Apatow film, meaning he's directing it. So, that would make it his third, following The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up.
It's about stand-up comedians, as you might expect, and there's a pretty early teaser poster for it now over at the film's MySpace page.
And there's a chance for you to be one of the Funny People, even if you don't get on a poster. Judd Apatow has more. Judd?
So there you have it. Look for this one in theaters July 31st.

Judd Apatow wants you to be part of his next movie! And no, it's not a joke. Apatow is currently shooting his next comedy "Funny People," and he'll give someone out there a chance to win a short walk-on role in the flick.
All you have to do is head over to the film's MySpace page and briefly describe why should win the role. It's a very simple task, and if you're lucky, you may soon share the same set with Seth Rogen, Adam Sandler, Leslie Mann and others.
At this point, we don't know that much about "Funny People," except that it's set in the world of standup comedy and focuses on a comedian who has a near-death experience.
In addition to the contest and a personal message from Apatow, you'll also find a teaser poster over on the MySpace page. I've included it right after the jump.

Ft. Lauderdale, Fl (Cns) -- Classic actor Richard Chamberlain, who has starred in films like "The Three Musketeers", "The Count of Monte Cristo" and as the original Jason Bourne in the 1998 TV movie "The Bourne Identity", was on hand for the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival's red carpet for the premiere of his film "Strength & Honor".
His latest film pairs him with Michael Madsen ("Kill Bill') in a story about a boxer who retired after killing a friend in the ring returns to fight for the first time in order to fund his child's life-saving operation. "It's a great film," Chamberlain said. "Thrilling and exciting, at the same time."
His last film appearance was as Council Banks in 2007's "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry", with Adam Sandler. He called the film "curious" and didn't want to elaborate much more on that.
