Carmen Electra to Pose in Eight-Page Spread for Playboy's 55th Anniv

No stranger to doing raunchy poses for magazine spreads, Carmen Electra is reported to be featured in an all-new eight-page spread for Playboy's forthcoming 55th anniversary January issue. People magazine is the first to break the news, which has since made its round all over the web.

Neither Carmen nor Playboy has verified the circulating report. In the meantime, it is widely believed that Carmen's pictures will hit the web prior to the release of the special issue on December 12 later this year.

Carmen first posed for the men's magazine in 1996. Her nude pictorial in the publication successfully catapulted her to stardom and led her to several high profile television appearances.

Concerning her private life, Carmen recently told People that she's in no rush to wed her fiance, Korn guitarist Rob Patterson, insisting she and Rob are just enjoying life as an engaged couple. "That's the thing this time -

Former Baywatch babe Carmen Electra is rolling back the years for a new Playboy photoshoot.

Thirteen years after she first stripped for Hugh Hefner's popular publication, the 36 year old will feature in a new eight-page pictorial in the forthcoming 55th anniversary issue of Playboy in January.

The edition will go on sale on 12 December.

Electra is currently engaged to former Korn rocker Rob Patterson.

Model-turned-actress Carmen Electra is in no rush to marry former Korn guitarist Rob Patterson - insisting they are just enjoying life as an engaged couple.

The Scary Movie star accepted the rocker's proposal on her 36th birthday in April and has faced a barrage of questioning from family and pals about when they are having the big day.

But Electra wants to get this relationship right, after two failed marriages to musician Dave Navarro and former basketball star Dennis Rodman.

She tells People.com, "That's the thing this time - we're going to avoid everyone else's pressure and go at our own pace. It's funny, everyone else puts so much pressure, (asking), 'When are you getting married?'

"Right now, we're just taking things really slow."

Oh, Carmen Electra. Any discussion of her hotness (and prithee, she is quite hot) must be tempered by the mention that she’s taken just about every schlong in Hollywood and is probably crawling with diseases they don’t even have names for. Seriously, would you go somewhere that Dennis Rodman, Tommy Lee and B-Real of Cypress Hill had been? We think not. Electra has been working on her acting career in recent years, and one of her most interesting roles was in the 2007 British film I Want Candy. The sex farce has just received a DVD release on this side of the pond, so we sat down to taste the waters, as it were. Results were mixed.

Adding to her status of World's Richest Supermodel, Gisele Bundchen has agreed to become the new face of cosmetics giant Max Factor. Her recruitment as the top brand's latest celebrity model is meant to mark its 100th anniversary in 2009.

Being tapped to front the ad for Max Factor's ColorGenius Face Collection, Gisele is replacing Carmen Electra, who was the face of the company for three years. Her ad for the product will start showing up on fashion magazines in October, but a sneak peek of it has been leaked online.

In the ad Gisele is seen donning light make up with her long hair being pulled back on top of her head. She's seen exposing her left shoulder, wearing only what appeared to be a pink furry coat. Her face looks lusty, with both her eyes starring at the camera and her lips narrowly opened.

This weekend, we saw the opening of Disaster Movie, the Lionsgate Film following in the footsteps of comedy film Scary Movie.  Kim Kardashian, from the highly successful E! reality series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, had been proudly talking about her film debut in her blog, and this weekend, fans finally got to see the reality celebrity show off her acting chops alongside friend and co-star Carmen Electra.  Recently, Kardashian and Electra

talked to the Canadian Press about their experiences filming Disaster Movie, and their transition from reality TV to the big screen.

"This is my first movie and I've just heard that Jason [Friedberg] and Aaron [Seltzer] are the most amazing directors to work with," Kim Kardashian told the Canadian Press.  "I auditioned for the role and I got it and I was really excited to work with them."

"Disaster Movie" lives up to its title. "Thunder" tops for third weekend

Oh yes folks it's that time...time to rag on the ragger. Time to kick the nutkicker back in the groin as it where. Lionsgate's opener "Disaster Movie" offering was destined for failure from the get-go with two leading ladies consisting of Carmen Electra and Kim Kardashian. How the run of horrifically bad spoofs from the writing and directing combo of Jason Friedburg and Aaron Seltzer has gone on for so long, is bewildering beyond comprehension. Debuting in 2,642 locations, the film posted a miniscule $6.1 million at an average of $2,335. The budget? $20 million dollars of wasted cash that could have rather gone to a charity. Still, it's not all that bad, we'll give one bit of credit where it’s due: the young lady who does the Juno impression is pretty good.

Facts of interest: None whatsoever.

The plot: A group of idiots struggle to survive a series of natural disasters, including twisters, asteroids and earthquakes.

Our quick thoughts: If “Disaster Movie” is currently topping one chart, it’s IMDb’s Bottom 100 list. I honestly don’t know what we did wrong to deserve this, but Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer decided to punish us yet again with another one of their stupid spoofs that not many people out there want to see.

Then again, the sad truth is that there are still plenty of people out there getting a kick out of this crap. Anyway, this time the plot centers on a group of idiots struggling to survive as the world comes to an end.

Carmen Electra is suing a company for allegedly exploiting her celebrity status.

The documents - filed at Los Angeles Superior Court under her real name Tara Patrick - accuse Payment Data Systems of breaching a contract with the star after hiring her for a merchandising deal.

The lawsuit claims the company "schemed to wrongfully exploit the Plaintiff's celebrity (status) and the value of her stage name and image for their own benefit and at the Plaintiff's expense."

Electra is suing for damages.

Barely qualifying as parody, let alone satire, the latest salvo from the Date Movie duo of Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer is a collection of pop-culture references so broad and obvious, they struggle to qualify as jokes. Plucking the signature scenes from a grab bag of recent hit movies, Disaster Movie strings them together with a plot that has commitment-phobic Matt Lanter dodging earth-destroying asteroids to reunite with estranged squeeze Vanessa Minnillo. Although that plot is obviously swiped from Cloverfield, Friedberg and Seltzer never actually get around to spoofing the movie's first-person shakycam gimmick; they're too busy taking potshots at sitting ducks. Take that, Michael Jackson! Although a handful of D-list celebs (Carmen Electra, Kim Kardashian) show up as themselves, the vast majority of the celebrity impressions are of the "Look! It's." variety, which is often the only way to tell who you're supposed to be looking at. Coming...

Carmen Electra knows how to freak fans out - she puts her clothes on!

The sexy actress/model has realised that she spends so much time in skimpy outfits and beachwear for photo shoots and film scenes, people rarely see her dressed normally.

She tells Parade.com, "One of the big misconceptions about me is that I walk around in miniskirts and high heels 24 seven and go to the gym in heels.

"When people see me dressed normally, they can't believe it. It's really weird."

And the sexy star admits she sometimes doesn't recognise herself - when she has "Tara Patrick moments".

Tara Patrick is the actress' birth name.
