Julia Roberts took a break from work on Eat, Pray, Love Monday to take her kids Hazel and Phinnaeus to the airport in Bali. Her children have had quite a year of travel, from their Summer vacation at Lake Como to their family trip to Hawaii. Julia stayed behind in Indonesia to keep filming with Javier Bardem, who spent his afternoon solo at the Ubud market. He recently saw off his own on location guest, Penelope Cruz, who headed to promote Broken Embraces following their romantic time on the beach a few weeks ago. Julia Roberts flashed her signature smile yesterday while working on Eat, Pray, Love in Bali. She had good reason to look so happy, since her handsome costar Javier Bardem was also on the set. The duo suited up in hiking gear for an afternoon on a mountain, which seems like quite a contrast to their recent day of floating in the sea. James Franco was her leading man on location in NY over the Summer, but while Julia's on her journey he's back in the states focusing on 30 Rock and General Hospital. It's hard to figure Hollywood out sometimes. Last week we had nothing outside of the last minute addition, Wednesday release of the Michael Jackson doc This is It and then this week is packed, albeit with a lot of smaller stuff and a pair of thrillers, but any weekend where I am posting five reviews is a pretty big week for movie releases. Let's check 'em out shall we?
The Fourth Kind Is it real? No. Is it any good? It's not bad and will likely be better for people going in knowing wholeheartedly it is fake, but then again, the filmmaker's attempts to convince you it's real may grate on you even more under those circumstances. It's hard to figure which side the general public will come down on this one and user comments should prove entertaining reads.
This film is rated PG-13 for violent/disturbing images, some terror, »

When it comes to iconic villains in Star Trek movies, there's none more memorable than the late Ricardo Montalban's Khan. In a recent interview with MTV, Star Trek director J.J. Abrams didn't say for sure whether Khan would appear in Star Trek 2, but he also didn't rule out the possibility.
Dealing with Khan would certainly be a challenge, but we had an equal challenge in finding our crew of the Enterprise. While I don't want to approach the second film as a remake of episodes we've seen in the past, and, you know, I don't think any of the other writers and producers are interested in just rehashing, or throwing characters in for the sake of it, and Khan is certainly the most obvious one in the history of the series for me.... Nothing is off limits in terms of what we're discussing.

This is not the first time the subject of Khan has come up in the past few months. Star Trek writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman first broached the subject publicly this summer, during a conversation that also included J.J. Abrams. At the time, they positioned Khan in the best imaginable way: Javier Bardem. I mean, seriously, if you're going to do it, who would be better? Or to quote producer Damon Lindelof, "That's a no-brainer. That would be the most amazing thing ever."
Now Abrams has brought up the what if of Khan again, telling Ace Showbiz something surprising: Casting the role would require a lot of work. Really? Didn't we just go through that? "Now that we are in a parallel existence with what fans of the original series love so much, we could introduce any number of characters, settings, references and situations that the original series introduced, »

There's little doubt that when it comes to Trek villains, Khan is a fan favorite. Moreover, Jj Abrams and the new stewards of 'Star Trek' understand this. Though the sequel to last summer's hit film is still very much in the nascent stages of development (a story hasn't been determined yet), the return of Khan is a possibility. With the new timeline firmly established, any of the series' previous characters can be molded to fit new story elements. In a new interview with MTV, Abrams talks about the possibility of recasting Trek’s popular villain.
"Now that we are in a parallel existence with what fans of the original series love so much, we could introduce any number of characters, settings, references and situations that the original series introduced," he told MTV. "Dealing with Khan would certainly be a challenge, but we had an equal challenge in finding our crew of the Enterprise. »

Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem hit the beach together earlier this week in Bali, where he's been filming Eat, Pray, Love with Julia Roberts. Javier showed off his shirtless chest while filming with Julia last weekend, but his real life love Penelope gets to enjoy those abs as well. The duo haven't had anything to say about the rumors that they are engaged, but no matter the relationship status they look happy as ever taking advantage of his exotic movie location. The film also stars Billy Crudup and Javier Bardem. "Whilst she is an Oscar winner, I've just started off," says Rushita, "The very first day that I went to Gurgaon was also the day when I first met her. Everybody's asking the question: "Who's going to serve as the villain or villains in the sequel to last summer's Star Trek?" Now that we're in an alternate Trek timeline, writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman are free to tell stories that incorporate familiar faces but combine them in new and interesting ways.
Which got us thinking: who's likely to make the short list, and what sort of possible stories/combinations might we see? Will the filmmakers choose to go the route of borrowing once more from canon...or will they elect to craft an entirely new story with entirely new antagonists?
Since new antagonists are impossible to predict, we decided to look to the original canon and have offered a list of possible villains from which Orci and Kurtzman could choose. We've divided the categories up into four groups:
The Heavy Hitters
The Middleweight Contenders
The Individual Narcissists

Penelope Cruz has fuelled reports she is engaged to wed actor Javier Bardem after flaunting a dazzling diamond ring in New York on Sunday night.
The Vicky Cristina Barcelona beauty has been dating Bardem since 2007 and the couple was recently forced to deny claims Cruz is pregnant with their first child.
Rumours surfaced last week (ends09Oct09) alleging the stars had gotten engaged while on holiday and had announced their plans to wed to close friends and family.
A source told the New York Daily News, "They're telling friends they will get married."
Cruz has so far refused to comment on the engagement reports, but she only served to heighten speculation when she flashed a new sapphire ring at the premiere of her new movie Broken Embraces at the close of the New York Film Festival.
Representatives for Cruz and Bardem had yet to respond to requests for a comment as WENN went to press. »

A dazzling movie star deserves a dazzling ring - and Penélope Cruz didn't disappoint Sunday night. But was it an engagement ring? Or simply a conversation piece? Whichever, all eyes were on the Spanish star at the premiere of director Pedro Almódovar's Broken Embraces on Sunday's closing night of the 47th New York Film Festival at Lincoln Center, where Cruz, 35, wore what appeared to be a knuckle-sized sapphire surrounded by small diamonds on her ring finger. "She has achieved a very handsome, good boyfriend, two Oscar nominations, one Oscar and the respect and admiration of her profession," Almódovar, 60, said. But Cruz didn't speak about what, »
